CVE-2026-31431 Copy Fail Exploit Affects almost all Linux Distros

This exploit was discovered April 29, but I just heard about it today. LinuxShout details the sploit and provides detailed instructions on how to patch your system.

The exploit stems from an update in 2017, affecting all kernels published since then, which is damn near all of them. Have a look and ensure some script kiddie can't take over your system with a 732 byte python file.

It's really that dangerous.

    Dear @valued-customer !

90 percent of the computers in the world I live in use Windows, created by Bill Gates. So, I don't know about linux!
