photosource

It is the legendary, it is a nostalgic it is the moment and it is iconic lastly it has my heart is what would be my response anytime i am asked about my opinion on you got served dance drama…. The 2004’s sensation performing arts drama is a epitome of hipop in the early 2000’s cascading across lifestyle, music, fashion and every littlest detailed nuances. Its is one that holds the retrospective of the time and provides what i would call a portal to re-experiencing the earlier days whenever ever you feel nostalgia

Dave and el are longtime best friends and are on a quest to develop a recording studio which places them in scenarios where they have to do whatever you get to their goal, their recurring dance battles eventually leads them to partaking in the big cities dance competition which the ultimate grand price that has the potential to realized thier dream but not before the roller coaster of events that leads them into different scenarios that challenges them from involvement with pushing dr*gs, to friendship breakup to betrayal and more they are left to learn from, grow and overcome in the process of it all.

Review

In the beginning i had mentioned “sensation”, this is the right word to describe the cinema because this is the feeling the movie evokes, the theatrical me-scenes indeed did a great job to evoke this feelings on it own, the plot played out in a way that makes you greatly emotionally invested in each character where we see individuals navigate their life in the rawness of an American setting and i think is rather eye opening to the audience, there is enough adrenaline in the plot to stimulate the audience occasionally and keeps you on the edge of your seat for what is to be expected next, when we begin to review the dance scenes aswell I think it is really the best part of the movie, the theatrical performance in the hipHop dance battles where immaculate to watch the replay value is rather incredible aswell, which is one reason i think it ranks as a novel watch to American

Conclusion

Man “what i would give to watch it for the first time again”. i would recommend this watch anytime and day an think that anyone at all would find it interesting because independently looking at the different parts of what moral compass the the movies plot covers i think there is going to be value to anyone at all.

Have you seen you got served 2004, if you have what are your thoughts??

What a great review! You can really feel the passion and nostalgia with which you describe the film. Although I haven’t had the chance to see it yet, reading about how it captures urban culture, the fashion, and the energy of the 2000s—not to mention how incredible those dance battles sound—makes me really want to track it down and catch up on this classic. It’s definitely going on my watchlist, thanks to your recommendation!
