Today, @clareartista and I are trying to have a day - or at least a morning off - away from our homestead life.
We drove to the nearest wee city to visit our favorite bakery, buy a couple of things at the market, have a drink, do some people watching and just enjoy a bit of time off.

Right now, Clare is sitting next to me on a bench in the shade. She is hand-sewing a white dress, her latest needlework project.
[ That is, until she decided to call her brother, in Scotland ]
We were brainstorming about being more creative in public, trying to further connect with people and possibly get them interested in our kind of alternative lifestyle.

On the way home, we plan to cool down at the river to recharge our energy.
It is lovely down there and we haven't been there in a while. In fact, we have mainly tried to survive the heat by slowing down and having cool showers and an occasional bath in our improvised ( former pigsty) bathroom, on our land.
I hope you're all enjoying your Sunday, wherever you are!
Sending love from Molise, Italy!

We bought a tea tree (lemon verbena ) and can't wait to give this wee guy a nice spot on our land )
