A Plant’s Shadow on the Wall
During my recent visit to Havana, I came across a potted plant on the street, right beside the Lonja del Comercio building. It was just an ordinary plant in a pot, something you could easily walk past without paying much attention.
But the sun was doing its part that day. The light projected the shape of the plant onto the wall of the building, creating a much larger version of it in the shadow.
I liked the way such a simple scene stood out against the wall. The plant was small, but its shadow had found a much bigger place to appear.
