A Reflection in the Fountain
While walking through the hotel, I noticed the reflection of part of the shopping area in the calm water of a decorative fountain. The actual buildings and shops were not the main subject of the photograph; instead, their image appeared transformed on the surface of the water.
Mientras caminaba por el hotel, descubrí el reflejo de parte de la zona de tiendas en el agua tranquila de una fuente decorativa. Los edificios y tiendas reales no eran los protagonistas de la fotografía; en cambio, su imagen aparecía transformada sobre la superficie del agua.
I liked the way the water softened the shapes and created a different version of a familiar place. A simple fountain became a small mirror, capturing a fragment of the hotel from an unusual perspective.
Me gustó la forma en que el agua suavizaba las formas y creaba una versión diferente de un lugar conocido. Una sencilla fuente se convirtió en un pequeño espejo, capturando un fragmento del hotel desde una perspectiva poco habitual.
Reflections like this are easy to overlook when walking through a place every day. But once you start paying attention, they seem to appear everywhere, turning ordinary corners into unexpected photographic opportunities.
Reflejos como este pueden pasar fácilmente desapercibidos cuando uno recorre un lugar todos los días. Pero cuando comienzas a prestar atención, parecen aparecer por todas partes, convirtiendo rincones cotidianos en oportunidades fotográficas inesperadas.
