Update on Indayclara's Donation Drive

Hello everyone!

I'm setting @indayclara as the 100% beneficiary of this post. She already extended help to our fellow Hivers in northern Cebu who were affected by the recent earthquake. She used her own credit card to buy the necessary items to provide relief to the victims. She called for help, but she didn't wait for help to arrive. She mobilized herself to immediately help our fellow Hivers. That's a commendable act from a mentor.

We might not be too active here, but the bond we have fostered with the teachers and students in Bogo, Tabogon, and San Remigio will forever remain. I trust her to do whatever is necessary with the amount she will be able to raise.

Time and time again, Hive has proven to be a great place to ask for help, especially during emergencies. As long as you have a good reputation on-chain and a transparent method of communicating both the needs and the expenses, Hivers will rally to help. I can attest to that through the numerous donation drives I have spearheaded over the years. As I'm already living and working here in Singapore, I wasn't able to spearhead the donation drive myself. However, @indayclara has been my constant right hand in previous donation drives, so I trust her 100%.

Not that you're asking, but I already powered down some of my HBD savings and I'll send it to her in a few hours. I also extended my help to my college organization, USCChES, which has been very active in their donation drives. They have already raised more than Php 139,000 as of this writing.

Anyway, here's the update of @indayclara's efforts:

@indayclara Personally Distributing Her Relief Packages to the Hivers in Northern Cebu

With ma'am @dehai

With ma'am @mommyjane and family

With @naymhapz

With @missleray

With @selflessgem

With @ciadanmea

With @doughnahhh

With @mkyzxna

With @langqt

With @callmesmile's newborn child. I don't know why they didn't have any pictures together.

Photo sent by @daenerhys, indicating she received the package.

Photo sent by @iamhug, indicating she received the package.

Extra two packages given to @mommyjane's churchmates.

There's actually another one who received a package, @juralyrondina, but @indayclara requested not to include the photo. She said she has unflattering angle in that photo. 😂

Items Included in Relief Packages:

These are the items included in the relief package: (1) 1 rechargeable fan, (2) 1 3 ft by 10 ft tarp, (3) tent, (4) cup noodles, (5) 2 kg bag of rice, (6) 2 loaves of bread, (7) sandwich spread, (8) canned goods, (9) 1 solar lamp, (10) 8-10 bottles of water, and (11) biscuits.

P.S. The cat was not included in the package.

She distributed 15 packages of those relief items to the Hivers that are affected by the earthquake. As Danica Mae have put it, it's a literal relief package because those items are really what they needed. The tents, tarps, and solar lamps are vital since they're still sleeping outside their homes as aftershocks can still be felt in the area.

Before I'll dump all the remaining photos, I would like to commend @indayclara's father for the support. He's been hands on especially in cutting the tarps to their desired sizes.

I'll just dump here the photos of the individual items:

If you're wondering, she spent almost Php 40,000 for all of the 15 relief packages she distributed. And if you're wondering again, I decided to make this update post from the photos she shared because I wanted to at least ease her burden a little bit. Php 40,000 is not a small amount that she will pay eventually, excluding the fees.

I guess that's all for this post. If you still want to help, my organization is still very active in distributing help especially to those far-flung barangays that are still asking for help. Details are in the photo below:
