Los cumpleaños para mí son muy especiales, ya que nos indican que tenemos vida y que tenemos una nueva oportunidad para hacer las cosas bien o mejores de como las hemos hecho, es saber que tenemos una nueva vuelta a un año lleno de vida, y que las cosas pueden mejorar para todos, es como tener una un año nuevo lleno de oportunidades, un libro nuevo con hojas blancas abiertas y que cada uno va a escribir su historia.
A mí siempre me has gustado celebrar mi cumpleaños porque desde muy pequeña mis padres siempre me lo celebraban, aunque no cumplo un día muy convencional es un día difícil porque la mayoría de las personas están con su familia y es muy difícil reunir amistades y familias al mismo tiempo, igual lo puedo celebrar otro día después pero siempre nunca debe faltar la torta por lo menos ese día de cumpleaños.
Creo firmemente que un cumpleaños sin torta no es cumpleaños, así que para celebrar un cumpleaños lo que hace falta es una buena torta y por supuesto las personas correctas que estén a nuestro lado, en mi caso la mayoría de las veces siempre cuento con mi familia a mi lado el día de mi cumpleaños, y luego otras amistades pueden celebrar para mi cumpleaños porque cumplo un primero de enero un día difícil, pero a los días sigo celebrando.
Celebrar mi cumpleaños y el de las personas cercanas a mi, es una bendición de Dios, ya que nos ha permitido la oportunidad de tener un año más de vida cuando muchos quizás no han llegado a poder cumplir un año más, celebrar todo lo que nos ha pasado en ese año atrás lo bueno o malo de alguna manera, porque lo bueno siempre nos va a impulsar adelante y lo malo siempre nos va a enseñar, así que es importante cumplir años, dar gracias sobre todas las cosas porque estamos vivos y con salud, eso para mí es lo más importante.
No importa si somos dos, tres o cuatro, la cantidad de personas que sean, Lo importante es saber que Dios nos está dando una nueva oportunidad para vivir un año más de vida y celebrarlo con las personas que amamos es algo invaluable, por ello también deseo elicidades para este año que se avecina a este precioso lugar de @empowertalend donde cada semana nos trae nuevos temas de reflexión.

Birthdays are very special to me, because they remind us that we’re alive and that we have a new chance to do things right—or even better than we’ve done them before. It’s knowing that we have another year full of life ahead of us, and that things can get better for everyone. I’ve always loved celebrating my birthday because, ever since I was very little, my parents always celebrated it for me. I can always celebrate it another day later, but there should always be a cake—at least on that actual birthday.
I firmly believe that a birthday without cake isn't a birthday, so to celebrate a birthday, all you need is a good cake and, of course, the right people by your side. In my case, most of the time I always have my family by my side on my birthday, and then other friends might celebrate with me because my birthday is on January 1st—a difficult day but I keep celebrating in the days that follow.
Celebrating my birthday and those of the people close to me is a blessing from God, since He has given us the opportunity to live another year when many others may not have made it to another year. We celebrate everything that has happened to us over the past year—the good and the bad—in some way, because the good will always propel us forward, and the bad will always teach us something, so it’s important to celebrate birthdays and give thanks for everything—because we’re alive and healthy—and that, to me, is what matters most.
