In this publication we will see a series of recommendations for all those who wish to start reading classics, whether in Spanish or English. My recommendations are based on my experience as an avid reader that I am.

If you start reading the classics I have several recommendations for you, and to start strong I recommend The Little Prince, a very light read, very simple to have a good time.

You can really read this book in a few hours, because it is very short and super enjoyable, it is not childish as many mistakenly believe, it is a very philosophical book that opens your mind a lot, makes you think, if you have never read it Well, I highly recommend it, the truth is the typical book that everyone should read at least once in their life, it comes in many printed versions, there are traditional ones or with illustrations.

Then if you fancy an older and more literary classic, more mythological, we have Plaute's book, here are two stories, one called the host and the other the comedy of the pot, they are very interesting stories; They are two plays, they are also read very, very quickly, the vocabulary is more complex and extensive than that of the Little Prince.

Even so, these two stories are very interesting and you are going to like them a lot, it is a good way to delve into classical literature, Plaute is a totally good start.

Another classic that I highly recommend, if you want to start delving into this sector of literature we have Alice in Wonderland, the classic of Lewis Carroll's classics, some editions are beautiful because they also come with illustrations in blue ink, very beautiful.

I recommend the original story of Lewis Carroll, not an edited edition, or changed, or with any adaptation, or anything like that, the original work.

As for books in English for children who are at a certain level of the language and want to read classics to improve their vocabulary, I have many recommendations, but I'm going to give you three, I personally recommend, for example, a Harry Potter and the Stone philosopher, the level of English in this book is very basic, very simple, it is an excellent way to delve into English literature or to start reading books in English, it is very good to practice.

It's really refreshing, because it's not difficult to understand the book and also the context helps you a lot to guess words that maybe you don't know what they mean; and besides you will enjoy it.

This is another very good option, Awful auntie, it seems not, but it is not entirely a children's book, it really is a book that anyone can read at any age, it is entertaining, it is fun, it is super well developed as well that its characters, therefore, you could read it and you would love it.

In addition, the level of English is very simple, it is also nothing special, with a medium basic level of English, it is practically read by itself, hahaha the chapters are short.

And lastly, this book is a little more youthful, the level is higher than the previous books, Enola Holmes can be a challenge, especially at the beginning, there is more vocabulary and it is a little more difficult and complex, but still It is youthful, although it can be read by anyone, regardless of age.
