Mis 30's fueron una década especial, una porque marcaron un cambio drástico en mi vida, me separaba del padre de mis hijos y yo cuando hago cambios soy extrema. Así que decidí cambiar hasta de estado y me mudé de Barquisimeto (donde ahora vivo de nuevo) a la bella Isla de Margarita.
La Isla me recibió hermosa, fui 10 años una navegá como dicen allá, la isla me abrió sus puertas con playas, empleo, oportunidades para construir mi casita y gente bonita que siempre tengo en mi corazón. Fueron exactamente 10 años. Llegué a los 30 y me devolví a Barquisimeto a mis 40.
Por razones personales no había podido ir a ver mi casa en varios años, situación que hizo que la vandalizaran. Sin embargo un vecina pudo ayudarme a recuperar algunas cosas y a cambiar cerraduras y ahora está en mejor resguardo.
Al volver a la Isla una de las cosas más bonitas fue la experiencia de conocer a algunos Hivers que hacen vida allá, como @sugarelys @rlathulerie @floreudys79 con quienes tuvimos la dicha de compartir un rico postre y café y una conversación muy amena, tan amena que olvidé tomar fotos, así que aquí les dejo una de mi esposo @filoriologo me autorizó usar. De verdad personas geniales con quién espero poder tener la dicha de volver a compartir de nuevo.
Tambien conocí a @rosa4r quién es compañera en el grupo de @rutablockchain y querías desde hace tiempo hacer real la amistad virtual que compartimos en años, nos vimos en su casa, y por primera vez comimos Mamey una fruta muy particular , creo filoriologo ya habló de ella. A mí me encantó. Gracias Rosa por tu linda hospitalidad, también comí manga, mi fruta favorita, así que mejor no pudo ser.
No faltó un paseo a la deliciosa playa Parguito, una de mis favoritas, donde recordé cuando llevaba a mis retoños pequeños a divertirnos en la arena, yo y mis tres pollitos @anjiart @jkhalthor @kriish . Quienes ya están grandes y universitarios y el mayor ya se gradúa de Ingeniero este año. Es impresionante como el tiempo vuela y estos momentos hacen saborear los recuerdos.
Pero también se crean recuerdos nuevos, pues fueron horas ricas, llenas de conversaciones únicas y vivencias llenas de alegría y amor junto a mi persona favorita en el mundo, mi esposo @filoriologo. Que mejor que filosofar escuchando al mar.
Por último aunque no menos importante, fuimos a otros lugares que mostraré en otro post, con una amiga muy especial, colega con quién trabajé muchos años en un Preescolar en la isla y con quién compartí muchas experiencias increíbles. Una hermana que me dio está isla bonita que siempre será mi hogar. Quién quita que termine allá en mis años dorados.

The island welcomed me with open arms; I spent 10 years there—a “navegá,” as they say there. The island opened its doors to me with beaches, a job, opportunities to build my little house, and wonderful people who will always have a place in my heart. It was exactly 10 years. I arrived when I was 30 and returned to Barquisimeto when I turned 40.
For personal reasons, I hadn’t been able to visit my house for several years, which led to it being vandalized. However, a neighbor was able to help me recover some of my belongings and change the locks, so it’s now better protected.
Upon returning to the island, one of the nicest things was meeting some Hivers who live there, like @sugarelys, @rlathulerie, and @floreudys79, with whom we had the pleasure of sharing a delicious dessert and coffee and a very enjoyable conversation—so enjoyable that I forgot to take photos, so here’s one of my husband, @filoriologo, that he gave me permission to use. They’re truly wonderful people, and I hope to have the pleasure of spending time with them again.
I also met @rosa4r, who’s a colleague in the @rutablockchain group. We’d both wanted for a long time to turn our years-long online friendship into a real-life one. We met at her house, and for the first time, we tried mamey—a very unique fruit,I think Filoriologo already mentioned it. I loved it. Thanks, Rosa, for your wonderful hospitality—I also got to eat mango, my favorite fruit, so it couldn’t have been better.
We didn’t miss out on a trip to the delightful Parguito Beach—one of my favorites—where I reminisced about when I used to take my little ones to play in the sand: me and my three little chicks @anjiart @jkhalthor @kriish. They’re all grown up now and in college, and the oldest is graduating with an engineering degree this year. It’s amazing how time flies, and these moments make me savor the memories.
But new memories are also being made, as these were wonderful hours, filled with unique conversations and experiences brimming with joy and love alongside my favorite person in the world, my husband @filoriologo. What could be better than philosophizing while listening to the sea?
Last but not least, we visited other places that I’ll show in another post, with a very special friend—a colleague with whom I worked for many years at a preschool on the island and with whom I shared so many incredible experiences. A sister who introduced me to this beautiful island that will always be my home. Who knows—maybe I’ll end up there in my golden years.
