Genre: Palpito (English title: The Marked Heart) is a Colombian thriller-drama series on Netflix.
This tv show has two seasons. I just finished watching Season 1 and it has 14 episodes and it dropped in 2022. It mixes crime,revenge and high emotion in a way that feels like a tense soap opera with real teeth. For everyday viewers who just want a clear story without complicated jargon, this season is easy to follow and hard to forget.And the high point of this show is where Simon later fell in love with Camila,the woman who survived thanks to the heart of his murdered wife.What a twist! 
Premise: This is a dark thriller with strong melodrama. A regular man’s wife is murdered so her heart can be cut out and given to another woman — the wife of a rich and powerful man. The grieving husband then walks straight into the dangerous underworld of illegal organ trading to find the people who did it.
How the Plot Connects (Season 1)
Simon is a normal husband and father living a happy life with his wife Valeria and their children. One night after a celebration, their car is deliberately sabotaged on a quiet road. It looks like an accident. It is not. 
Men from a criminal group grab Valeria while Simon is unconscious from the impact. They take her because her heart is a perfect match for Camila, a photographer who is dying of heart failure.
Camila is married to Zacarias, a wealthy political strategist who has the money and the connections to buy what the legal system cannot give him fast enough.Valeria is killed so her heart can be transplanted into Camila.
Camila wakes up alive with a new heart and starts having strange dreams and feelings she cannot explain. Simon refuses to accept the official story that his wife simply died in the crash. He begins digging. The more he digs, the deeper he sinks into the black market of organ trafficking — a world of middlemen, corrupt doctors, and ruthless bosses who treat human bodies like spare parts for sale.
The stories start to cross. Simon and Camila meet by chance.
Neither knows the brutal truth that connects them. She is searching for the identity of her heart donor. He is hunting the people who destroyed his family. Zacarias tries to keep everything controlled and hidden while his own power and secrets start to crack. Around them move the traffickers, the police who are sometimes useful and sometimes not, and ordinary people who get caught in the machinery.
By the end of Season 1, the separate lives of the grieving husband, the surviving wife, and the powerful man who paid for the crime have crashed into each other. What I Have for the Scrobblelife Community Season 1 is tightly focused, bingeable, and emotionally charged. The performances are strong — especially Michel Brown as the desperate husband, Ana Lucia Dominguez as the woman living with a stolen heart and Sebastian Martinez as the powerful man who believes love justifies anything.The story moves with purpose. Every episode adds a new layer of danger and connection without becoming confusing. It is not perfect. Some moments lean into big melodrama, and a few side stories stretch a little. But for anyone who wants a clear, gripping story about crime, grief and moral compromise, Season 1 works extremely well. It never lectures. It just shows you the cost — and that cost stays with you.
The final stretch of Season 1 leaves the main characters in a place of no return. Secrets are out. Trust is broken.
The organ-trafficking network is still very much alive, and the personal stakes have never been higher. You will finish the last episode and immediately want to know what happens next. That is the power of this first season: it opens your eyes to a dark reality while making you care so much about the people trapped inside it that you cannot walk. Absolute cinematic thriller!
