I Finally Did It - Today I've Become a Dolphin!

Hello, dear friends!

For 18 months, I've been swimming on this wide sea, side by side with the Plankton, Red Fish and Minnows. Occasionally meeting a few Dolphins and Orcas along the way and, of course, crossing paths with a couple of Evil Whales, too... I'm finally ready to join their league.

Today it almost feels like it's my birthday, as reaching 5000 Native SP was my goal here.

Last week, I was just 101 STEEM away from my goal, so I grabbed a little bit of ETH I had lying around and converted it to 93 STEEEM, leaving me just 8 SP shy from my intended target.

Today, I woke up and and realised that my unclaimed credits were enough to push me over that desired 5000 SP.

Of course I powered up and now I can relax and enjoy the high tides.

So, what now?

Will I continue to invest and convert every little bit of STEEM and SBD to Steem Power? Probably not.
Will I Power Down and start selling some STEEM? Heck, no!

Now that my target was reached, I'll continue to Power Up every STEEM and other STEEM Tokens I get, just like I've been doing so far:

Apparently, all of these airdropped tokens are already worth almost $100. Sweet!

I don't even know if there's any benefit in staking these tokens but hey, it can't hurt. So why not? I say... Stake 'em all!

However, I feel like the Altcoin market has been so brutally beaten up by Bitcoin that I will start to convert the SBD I earn into some other coins that seem to be promising.

After all, they cannot fall forever... can they? I believe that the coins which survive this Altcoin Depression the best will be the ones I'll get in to. And I'm not talking about the Pump & Dump coins sponsored by Binance, in case you're wondering. I'm talking about coins associated with more credible projects, as I'm done investing in dreams and empty promises.

If there's a working product and the coin has value / use inside that platform, I'll take a look at it. Otherwise, I'll simply ignore it altogether.

Well, this is it... my investment plan for the rest of the year is to convert SBD into a few oversold promising Crypto projects. Wish me luck!

Congrats on the milestone! One of the positives about the bear market is that it has allowed many, including myself, to build a great stake here which could be life changing in the future as the ecosystem continue to develop and evolve. Despite the price, it is clear that value is being created as the community behind this continues to be very passionate about its growth and technology. With this support, I think it will still on a short list of cryptocurrencies that will outperform in the future.

Congrats man what an epic moment, I know Orca will be a while away but who knows at these prices you could pull it off if it continues to stay this way with not much competition for the reward pool too. I'm about 60% of the way and I hope to get to Dolphin eventually, I'm powering up every bit of STEEM and SBD I get at the moment until I can hit that magic 5000 mark.

Also with the new HF its going to be more important than ever to have more SP if you want to earn around here

Up early this morning (here) @trincowski and this was the first Steem post I saw. Very happy to read it and see you have reached this milestone! 👍

Like you, I have staked all of the Steem.Engine tokens coming my way. "Cashing out" seems pointless, as they are not worth enough to make that big a difference in my life. Along with the broader alt coin market, I have always (and still do ...) expected many of them will ultimately become worthless.

But ... The ones which emerge from all of the "smoke and mirrors" games and deliver long-term value I still have at least some faith they will produce life-changing returns. Wishful thinking? Well ... 😏

Guess you and I are still "on board" to find out together! 😊 Keep up the great work!! 👌

P.S. Do you have any hope that HF21 will result in a reduction / elimination of the "evil whales?"

P.P.S. Would you please share where you are seeing the view of your wallet total shown in your post? I seldom go in Steem.Engine and assumed it was in there. But no ... I have a similar list of tokens, so thought I would also check on their value ...

Congratufuckinglations!! You totally deserve to be a dolphin and more! I am so happy to see you become a dolphin! 100$ on steem-engine? That is massive! Staking would be a good idea since it gives you a forever living ROI, unlike just dumping which might give you a one-time return.

But what are the altcoins you are looking at? and what other crypto projects?
