What hath lay in the path of grace The generous growth and twigs of green My forest is sheltered throughout the year The harmony of nature displayed everywhere
Today is #TreeTuesday with @Old-Guy-Photos! I know that everyone has some of those! Dig down deep and show me your trees!
Whispered words, cannot be heard But, only by the heart As it should be My love, my love

Oh, but then he gently brushed his lips upon her cheek Slight of touch Overcome, she blushed Blossoming for him Like a flower

The ponds are full and giving of their reflection of trees. How can one argue the beauty that the rain gives us? Oh, the days of summer have turned my head, with colorful flowers and the abundant trees, shading my memories of winter. Are there more poetic thoughts in life than that of a growing tree?
I spotted a headstone, should I say yet another? It was laid to rest, long ago, never intending, I am sure, for Mother Natures friends to plant a tree upon the earth. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust. In another twenty years, he will have disappeared altogether. This photo is dedicated to #cemeteryphotos by @melinda010100.
I'd like a tree to mark the spot Where I am laid to rest For that would be the epitaph That I would like the best.
Tho it's not carved upon a stone For those who come to see But friends would know that resting there Is he, who loved a tree Samuel N. Baxter

Let the light in Reflected from a greater source Reach for the moon, hang on to the stars But always remember your roots Advice from my tree

As always, there must be a flower. I dedicate this picture to #TuesdayOrange #ColorChallenge by @Kalemandra, who colors my world every day.

For all of these reasons, I am eternally grateful. Don't ever forget what a wonderful world we live in, people. Let's hold hands around the globe and make this earth really spin. Some days, it is not as easy to see, how wonderful it really is. Kindness counts. Wherever you go, whatever you do.
I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.

they set my aunts house on fire i cried the way women on tv do folding at the middle like a five pound note. i called the boy who use to love me tried to ‘okay’ my voice i said hello he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
i’ve been praying, and these are what my prayers look like; dear god i come from two countries one is thirsty the other is on fire both need water.
later that night i held an atlas in my lap ran my fingers across the whole world and whispered, "where does it hurt?" it answered,
"everywhere" "everywhere" "everywhere"
