Is it spring, yet? (Original Photography)

Howdy,

I think we can safely say that spring has arrived, although a random snowfall can't be ruled out just yet. Not that many years ago, we received eighteen inches in mid-May.

It has been hard to get things done, now that the weather is nice. The weekend forecast is not looking quite as pleasant, so I went out in search of spring sights. This is despite the looming portfolio defense that is scheduled for Thursday. Hopefully, they'll let me graduate...

This next one was taken with a smaller aperture to get more in focus. The result is a bit more harsh than I prefer, but the colors and pattern are easier to see.

Of course, the robins are back too. That's usually one of the first signs that spring has arrived. I'm not much of a bird photographer, but this one decided to plop itself down on a branch right next to me. Is he smiling?

I managed to get one of the butterflies with its tongue in a perfect spiral but, unfortunately, the focus missed. I really need to upgrade this aging equipment so, hopefully, I can find work quickly. The resume is freshly pressed and waxed. Up-to-date, anyway...

Lifting your spirits going into Spring in wildlife, nothing better than the arrival of everything coming alive.

Yes, it's definitely spring and I can see there's spring at your end of the word too, wherever it may that be 🙂 Congratulations, these are wonderful photos of subjects I somehow never get to photograph. Usually I'm using my mobile phone and birds and butterflies don't wait for me to set it up, they are gone in a split second. Both are very cute and I'm glad you've posted the photos, at least I can enjoy them here :) Excellent work, keep it up and have a nice Sunday :)

Spring is indeed here and the snow always takes time to wear off, but spring always brings more love along. No wonder You felt for those pictures. I really enjoyed every moment I spent on your blog, plus the clicks were adorable to watch. Great work and keep the photography spirit up always.

hey @fotosdenada, very nice macros, especially the ones with butterflies. It is very hard to capture them in a good light, sharpness and surrounding. But in the same time there is a lot of fun in it, isn't ? ;) Thanks to your photos, I was convinced to reducing the volume of my music and enjoy some birds sings behind the window. article obviously upvoted. keep working :)

These photos are great and if you say that you have an old equipment then I really hope that you will be able to get a new one soon as those photos will be fantastic :)

I like to see photos of animals but I suck at this kind of photography and prefer to photograph nature - nothing is moving there and it's easy to focus, lol.

I see that you're good at both types of photography :)

Spring has arrived here in Japan. The flowers blossom and the short wave of heat mixed with cold wing confirm the end of winter season. Beautiful picture of the wildlife especially the butterfly. Thank you for sharing this post on spring. Peace

Beautiful shots!, I especially like the flower picture, so serene and simple. Hang in there, it will be full spring in no time.

I hear your struggles on aging photo equipment, mine is starting to feel like a dinosaur at over 8 years old. Upgrading is expensive tho. What are you coveting for your next camera?
