Part #2: Snowy Mountains / Verschneite Berge

Yesterday I photographed the northern side of the valley in my home town of Oberdrauburg (Snowy Mountains / Verschneite Berge), and this morning I drove to the northern side and took photos south or rather west.

Gestern habe ich die nördliche Talseite in meinem Heimatort Oberdrauburg fotografiert (Snowy Mountains / Verschneite Berge), und heute morgen bin ich auf die nördliche Seite gefahren und habe nach Süden beziehungsweise eher nach Westen fotografiert.

My location yesterday was somewhere on the left side of the mountain in a forest clearing.

Mein gestriger Standort war irgendwo links am Berg auf einer Waldlichtung.

The Hochstadel is our local mountain and I have made a few posts about it this year. It is 2,681 m / 8,796 feet high and is currently beautifully covered with snow.

Der Hochstadel ist unser Hausberg und ich habe dieses Jahr schon ein paar Beiträge über den Berg gebracht. Er ist 2.681 m / 8,796 feet hoch und derzeit wunderschön mit Schnee bedeckt.

In the lower left area of the photo you can clearly see how much the forest was thinned out by the severe storm damage in autumn 2018.

Wenn man weiß, wo man suchen muss, dann findet man auch unsere kleine Hütte versteckt hinter ein paar Bäumen.
Im linken unteren Bereich des Fotos kann man deutlich sehen, wie sehr der Wald im Herbst 2018 durch die schweren Sturmschäden ausgedünnt worden ist.

Blue and cloudless sky means postcard weather. I was hoping for a few clouds in the sky, but after so many days with cloudy rainy weather, the sun is doing really well.

Blauer und wolkenloser Himmel bedeutet Postkartenwetter. Ich hatte auf ein paar Wolken am Himmel gehofft, aber nach so vielen Tagen mit trübem Regenwetter tut die Sonne richtig gut.

Before I took these photos, I also wanted to take pictures of the sunrise, but it was cloudless and very uninteresting, except for two strange clouds. I have to edit the photos of these two clouds first, before I can show them.

Bevor ich diese Fotos gemacht habe, wollte ich auch den Sonnenaufgang fotografieren, aber auch dieser war bis auf zwei seltsame Wolken wolkenlos und sehr uninteressant. Die Fotos der beiden Wolken muss ich aber erst bearbeiten.
