The crooked brook / Der schiefe Bach

Of course the brook is not crooked, but ...

Natürlich ist der Bach nicht schief, aber ...

... actually, the two photos are just one that I divided in two, because if you look at it as a single photo, the picture or the brook looks somehow crooked. But I think this illusion is caused by the non-horizontal logs in the lower half of the photo.

... eigentlich sind die zwei Fotos nur eines das ich geteilt habe, denn wenn man es als Einzelfoto betrachtet, dann schaut das Bild beziehungsweise der Bach irgendwie schief aus. Ich denke aber, diese Täuschung entsteht durch die nicht waagrechten Holzstämme auf der unteren Hälfte des Fotos.

Or does the photo just look to me as if the picture was leaning to the left?

Oder schaut das Foto nur für mich so aus, als ob das Bild nach links lehnen würde?

I took the photo last Saturday during my little walk in the forest behind my parents' house. I had hoped for colder weather and icy waterfalls, but the last few days had been too warm. The autumn colors have also completely faded and the forest has become relatively colorless.

Das Foto habe ich letzten Samstag bei meinem kleinen Waldspaziergang im Wald hinter meinem Elternhaus aufgenommen. Eigentlich hatte ich auf kälteres Wetter und vereiste Wasserfälle gehofft, aber die letzten Tage waren zu warm gewesen. Auch die Herbstfarben sind inzwischen vollkommen verblasst und der Wald ist relativ farblos geworden.

Its probably me, but I do like original photography the most. It looks (as you said)like is leaning a bit to the left, but thats ok. It's great photography anyway. In nature not every time you can nicely center and line. But I understand that you as a true photographer needed to split the photo. I wish you great weekend @johannpiber. I know that when I start drinking my evening !BEER , it is morning for others 😉.
