ENJOY THE MID-WEEK ROSE!

A couple of posts ago I had a rose bud and said I would use the fully open rose in an upcoming post. This is the rose. My daughter took this photograph on our photography adventure last June.


I posted the fundraising post last week By the way thank you one and all for any upvotes and for sure your comments. I should not be receiving any of the earnings for the post. I put down 95% to go to @aid.venezuela, and 5% automatically goes toward SteemPlus.

I had planned on doing a post over the weekend. Unfortunately everyone in the household except me came down with influenza. I was suppose to be doing other work, but instead was caring for the household, cleaning up messes I would rather not experience again, and trying to get all my paperwork completed for our annual review. On top of that we were trying to finish tiling the main part of the house before the review. There was a lot of cleaning involved in this

As I have mentioned before to care for the disabled in our home we have to go through an annual review. I had to make sure each person we care for had all the paperwork in order. We had the review this morning and got our certificate renewed. Now I just have to stay on top off all the paperwork so next year is easier.

Now I can devote some time to get out doors and getting things ready for planting season. My daffodils are starting to bloom. I plan on cleaning up my flower beds, and I have around 20 lily bulbs to plant. I also hope to take a walk in woods and see what wildflowers may be coming up.

Now for a few more photographs. This photograph of this bridge was difficult to get a good photo because the road sloped. Between my daughter and myself one photo came out nicely:

This next photograph was taken in a greenhouse at Manito Gardens last summer. There are many plants and a couple of flowers to enjoy.

This last photograph is of a young doe that stayed healthy during our difficult winter. I would imagine she will have young in May:

    Beautiful photos of flowers. Thank you for all your support to the cause of Venezuela. Our problems are complex and varied.

    We are a young country and I believe that, like other countries, we must learn from our mistakes and use them as a support stone, not as an obstacle. _ Only by allowing all the tests to bring out the best, will we move on. I think we are maturing for that.

    The nature of the Venezuelan is to offer help, maybe that's why it costs us so much to ask for it. _ It is trajicomico. Although we eat less; and we are thin, and we face diseases. We are always waiting to help us, no matter what political ideal we have.

    I live it daily in my community.

    I hope everything is going good with you now... Orange rose looks great.. I had a collection of double delight which was orange on it's initial level and turned into reddish orange when full bloomed...

    It seems like the talent comes in the family, the pics both from your daughter and you are quite good. I like better the animal photography rather than flowers, but that's just a matter of taste.

    I used to have the very same camera, a rebel t5 but since I travel a lot and it's a bit heavy for a low budget backpacker with no space in the backpack, I gave it to my dad's wife, she'll give it a better use.

    Always @r2cornell a friend with your photographs of those beautiful roses, you remember that last week I sent you a photo of a sunflower that was not yet completely open, look today is much bigger the sunflower flower. I hope you like it.
