Soon they wil be back

Soon they will be back

Its just on 49 days from today till spring officially starts, and although we haven't had that bad a winter with very little snow so far we have had some cool days and the cold slows me down and I haven't been out walking as much as usual and hence don't have many new photos to edit looking through my folders I came across a few shots that made me think of spring and will share them in this post. Well, maybe I was thinking more or warmer temperatures and the boats coming back into the marinas more than spring colors which I do of course love as well.

These first few shots are at the Lisman Landing Marina back in Summer last year, when I see the boats coming back inthe water then you knowits warming up and some nice months ahead :)

A few years back, well pre 2006 when I got TB, I loved all the seasons and the cold did not slow me down, but each year since then I find myself feeling the cold more both in my bones and in my chest, but luckily I take plenty of photos inthe warmer months so I can slip in posts like this over the colder months.

These shots were taken on a few walks in this area, I often walk by when I get a chance on weekends for me there is something so calming walking by the water and thinking how nice it would have to be one of these boats, although a friend who owned a bot as a Vessel you pay a lot for and are always pouring money into, so maybe its a good thing I never bought one

And finishing off with a shot of Scoopy Doos ice cream shot, they have the nicest ice cream so hard to resist when you walk by when its open.

I needed this hit of summer, thank you! It's raining today, which means icy roads with snowbanks on each side. Our spring will be a bit behind yours, methinks, but even looking at photos of blue sky and warmth helps it not seem as far away. Happy weekend to you!

I've always heard that: "A house is a hole in the ground that you pour money into, and a boat is a hole in the water that you pour money into" I have neither at this point. Good stuff JJ. I live in landlocked Atlanta, though there are a couple of sizeable manmade lakes nearby. There has even been a problem with abandoned house boats in Lake Lanier And the County is having to pay for their removal and demolition. Go figure. Well done @tattoodjay

I thought Spring started in March? Did I lose a month? :) I could be totally wrong though. In Michigan it all just kind of blends together! Nice photos. It would be cool to have a boat some day. Not sure how I would tow my travel trailer and my boat!
