Steem at $0.20 again: your thoughts?

Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!

Six months ago, I published a post titled Steem at $0.20: your thoughts? here on my blog and here we go again today. Same title, same price... Same situation? Not at all!

While those six months ago, Steem broke the 0.20 mark during its monstrous and super lengthy drop to what turned out to be the lowest price I have ever seen (about 0.10), its current stop by the 0.20 mark is happening on what seems like an epic comeback up to the numbers where we all want it to have.

We have already seen quite a lot of random, short lived pumps of Steem that might have caused some moderate elation in the community but we all knew these occasional candles were not what we wanted and needed in the long run. What is happening now, however, looks exactly like the healthy, organic and stable growth of the Steem price that we have been anticipating for so long. I know it is too early to draw any conclusion yet but from what I have read, heard and observed in the crypto world lately, I can tell you I am really optimistic and excited about what is upon us in the near future ;)

I have already noticed a few "I am back" posts here on the blockchain and I am expecting many more to show up in the days and weeks to come. Naturally, when people see that the price starts to go up again, they come back to our blockchain with the vision of making some coins that will be worth something. But let me remind you one thing. It will be us, the most dedicated Steemians who have been here all the time, posting, commenting, curating, engaging with the community and keeping the blockchain alive even in the quietest times, who will be rewarded the most. Our determination and strong belief in Steem will come to sweet fruition soon, I am very confident about it.

I am really grateful that I didn´t give up during the frustrating times when the post comment sections were pitifully void and the blockchain felt like a ghost town. I am glad that I have persisted and you should be too, because... let me tell you one thing. I can already hear the bull snorting heavily and it is a big one ;)

I think you are right and most probably it's the last time we all see steem at $0.2. Wish I can continue with EuroVelo 7 this summer and pay for the trip with my earned steem. Has been a lot of development lately and the whole ecosystem is more mature now and the price doesn't reflect it . I really don't miss paying for WordPress and Google AdSense, by contrast Steemit empowers the content creator directly which is great, no middleman, and this alone is a huge deal, there is real value here. There are great projects being developed, the increase in price will only fuel their motivation and imagination. May the spring come and the blockchain space blossom!

From the looks of things, users who dumped steem are coming back. Those who gave up their liquid and staked tokens are seeing the need to get them back. With this, i see the price going higher.

I think it will be driven by bitcoin and as bitcoin can hit the ATH, so as STEEM. But, do you have any exit plan or exit and re-buy plan for another cycle? If there will be any...but I think the cycles are natural in crypto. Surely, no-one knows how they will look like, but still...having a plan and sticking to it might not be a bad idea.

In hope for a sustainable growth for a longer period. I hope you are right and I also hope that the return of steemians will not over run the once keeping it up and making the return possible. For the past year I was posting and sharing my work everyday when possible. Even after a year I find it difficult to raise attention and gain ground. It's slow but steady and there is a handfull of followers I have great solid support over the past months. Yet it feels a bit fragile and not as given. To a surprise I see here and there some totally new visitors to my blog. My hope for the future is that this will translate into normal. Not something I wonder if it exists tomorrow situation. So you predict and radiate a positive outlook. I want to follow that. Cheers to that! 🎉

When others were fleeing, selling and slamming the price, the dedicated ones kept posting, buying and powering up for the future.

I haven't really known steem to be above a dollar so for me, the legends of thousand dollar value posts is something I can't comprehend but everything I have is a bonus now.

I did buy up around 22k Steem and powered up over the "baron months", there's too much development and dedication for the chain to go down so it's a no brainer in my opinion.

Steem on I say, enjoying this last couple of weeks, that's for sure!

I don't know but I still tend to think that if the crypto goes up, steem does too to a certain extent. Though for sure I wish steem skyrocketed to the moon :-)

i will advice everyone to be calm and they should let the bullish trend continue for at least the next two days before they make their buy orders,i said so because the bull trend might just be a temporary move...

i think that the steem price will continue to rise due to the more demands of steem on the market,i guess that the bitcoin bullish trend and the rise of more steem engine tokens might have been among the factors responsible for the new bullish trend of steem....just my personal opinion....
