- One of the finest movie seen this year. Wow! One can expect such masterpieces from Christropher Nolan. It has opened up so many new ideas in my mind. Like it is 2:06 AM right now, and I am already doing quick searches. Curiosity is such a blessing and a curse for me. Enough of me. Movie is a must watch. The only thing I felt wrong was the hasty ending. The climax shifted quickly, and no offense to Tom Haland, but I did not like his role much. I am not questioning Nolan's choice; still he felt a lot childish. Maybe Telemachus character is supposed to be this way.
- The loud and over-the-top Dhamaal 4 is an Indra Kumar film best described as slapstick comedy. While you might expect a film carrying forward the popular franchise to sell tickets, it has been savaged for its poor CGI effects work of late (it IS a sequel), weak jokes and standard treasure-hunt plot. Instead of providing new laughs, it relies heavily, maybe too much for some viewers on the same old formulas that many already felt had long been played out.
- Despite knowing that the target is aware of their approach, the first part of the film introduces the plan through various escape strategies planned by the team. At the same time, Rachel uses financial pressure to challenge and trap the target. Every action escalates the risk and heightens the peril. However, the film suffers from over-explaining, which makes it feel slow and hard to follow due to an overload of information.
- Early reactions have been mixed. Fans of the musical love from back in 2011 are eager to see Emraan Hashmi return again, and have praised that emotional feel of the film, but others believe it may struggle recapturing the magic. It has quite literally received positive and negative reviews, therefore time will tell before its release. https://youtu.be/IQ7HkZ-Gun8
- Backrooms had a setup that is strong enough to carry something stranger than what we got, I felt things were just too simple and basic and this is where context lack. Backrooms does prove that Kane Parsons knows how to build fear out of space and patience alone, I just wanted it to stop explaining itself and let the fear stay confusing.
