I Just Can't Do This Anymore

Welp Guys, I've given this my all for nearly 3 years.

It's time to face the facts...

Steem just isn't working out for me.

I will never hit my goal of earning $7000 a month, to top that off my IBS has flared up and I am just not sure this is good for my health anymore. The butthurt is quite literal.

I am not sleeping well, I dream of flags, until I startle awake just to find out I am still not rich. Each day the slow realization that I don't have a Lambo rips at my heart... One can only take so much...

Daily, I face the constant stress and fear of finding something to say and my fingers are weary... All this typing puts me at extreme risk for carpal tunnel and we don't even get benefits. Blogging is hard, after all this time I have barely earned any trolls.

Sorting through the hundreds of DMs I get on discord begging for my massive vote is also exhausting. Correcting each person that calls me "Sir" because my name isn't fluffykitten and my whale is blue, points out the huge amount of sexism and misogyny on Steem.

Look guys this level of mediocracy is not easy to maintain and you never give me credit for almost achieving above average. So at this time, I am going to have to quit unless or until you change your ways and make me feel more special on a daily basis and/or send me copious amounts of Steem.

This is my last post... (I'll be checking in tomorrow to see who is heartbroken.)

My butthurt is worse than yours, my goal more unreachable, my blogging harder work, my fingers sorer and I'm credited even less than you, so I don't know what you're complaining about. Ha ha. You had me there for a moment even though I was thinking to myself, ”Surely not Whatsup!!!” while reading it. If it had been April 1st I probably wouldn't have read it. The post is definitely worthy of receiving some DRAMA but I don't have enough Steem to buy any at the moment which is pretty dramatic in itself. I'm distraught.

Lol. I have to admit I thought you were male for a long time. Steem has its ups and downs, but we are still here. I was discussing this with someone last night and I was saying it is the people that keep me here rather than the money or technology. There have been times when I was making really good money, but now it's barely enough to buy lunch.

I want to see Steem prosper despite the greed and bullying that goes on. It's too good an opportunity for many needy people to throw it all away.
