Existen ciertas películas que dejan un mensaje especial. Son filmes que te motivan, inspiran, o te alientan a crecer como persona. Quizás la más "famosa" de todas es "En busca de la felicidad", en donde actúa Will Smith. A pesar de haber visto varias películas de este tipo, la primera que se me vino a la mente al momento de leer este Concurso: "Films que inspiran" de @holos-lotus fue "El Guerrero Pacífico".

Un día, un buen amigo de la universidad me habló de esta película. Esto fue hace aproximadamente 4 o 5 años. Poco después vi el filme, y me impresionó el mensaje reflexivo que te deja. La película te hace meterte en la mente del personaje principal, hasta el punto de que al final sientes que "evolucionaste" junto con dicho personaje, y reconoces las percepciones "erróneas" de los demás personajes sobre la vida.
One day, a good friend from college told me about this movie. This was about 4 or 5 years ago. Shortly thereafter I saw the film, and was impressed by the thoughtful message it leaves you with. Lo que quizás pueda sucederte, sobre todo si eres joven, es que puedas sentirte muy identificado con el joven al inicio de la película. Todos sus problemas reflejan lo que un joven normalmente sufre. Pero al principio quizás no entiendas nada de lo que el misterioso señor (a quien podríamos llamar "Sócrates") quiere decir.

Todo joven suele pasar por experiencias similares, relacionadas a la inmadurez. Pero a la vez es algo que personas de todas las edades experimentan en mayor o menor medida en algún área de su vida. Pero quizás la historia de alguien joven es la más fácil de retratar en este sentido. Nadie suele enseñarnos de algunas cosas importantes, y es por ello que solemos aprender por experiencia propia. Hay cosas que quizás tu familia no pudo enseñarte, y mucho menos lo aprenderías en la escuela.

Muchas personas suelen "apegarse" al mundo externo, basan sus emociones en lo exterior y no en lo interno. Y todo esto es propicio para generar un "mundo de ego", una "cáscara", que nos impide ver lo verdaderamente importante: el interior. Y los más susceptibles a todo esto son los jóvenes, especialmente adolescentes. El protagonista de esta película es un buen ejemplo de esto al principio del filme. Pero poco a poco vamos entendiendo el mensaje de la película. Es curioso porque al verla por primera vez me sentí reflejado en el protagonista. Al verla de nuevo hoy en día me doy cuenta de muchas cosas y mensajes importantes que no captas hasta que te desprendes un poco de la "inmadurez" de la juventud.

Watching it again today I realize many important things and messages that you don't understand until you let go of the "immaturity" of youth.
"Siempre sucede algo". "Estás en el ahora". "Eres este momento". Esta es una de las mejores películas inspiradoras que he visto. No es tan conocida, ya que se estrenó en el año 2006. Esta película te enseña que lo importante está en el interior, y llegamos allí tras "sacar toda la basura de la mente". Cuando eliminamos todo el ego que nos ciega empezamos a aprender más de la vida. A veces un evento o accidente nos puede hacer aprender por las malas, o por el sufrimiento, pero podemos también aprender a través de la sabiduría.
