They say that there is no greater love than that of a mother, but they also say that not all women were born to be mothers. Either because of external situations, women with evil in their veins, mental illnesses for which the children pay, etc... This is the case of Marta Bogado, a woman who suffers from Munchausen's syndrome by proxy, which is not only destructive for herself but even more so for her little ones, even though she claims to love them like nothing else.
Who suffers from this syndrome, performs excessive care with their children or a third person thinking (or lying on purpose) that they have many diseases that require extreme care and use this to manipulate those people in question to have them under their power and be totally dependent on them. They basically generate a psychological prison where the affected person cannot escape. It has been described as the same bond that is generated with a kidnapper.
The premise of this chapter is based on this and it is catalogued as "the strongest chapter of the whole series" since it involves small children and a mother who has completely lost her temper.
Before I begin, I will give a spoiler alert because I want to say a lot of things about this chapter and it is difficult for me to do so without giving any spoilers, also, if you are sensitive, please do not read this review because it is strong., so, that said, let's start with the review of Marta Bogado, Mother.
Dicen que no hay amor mas grande que el de una madre pero, tambien dicen que no todas las mujeres nacieron para serlo. Ya sea por situaciones externas a ellas, mujeres con maldad en sus venas, enfermedades mentales de la cuales pagan los niรฑos, etc.. Este es el caso de Marta Bogado, una mujer que padece el sรญndrome de Munchausen por poderes el cual, no solo es destructivo para ella misma sino que lo es aun mas para sus pequeรฑos aunque alegue amarlos como a nada.
Quien padece este sรญndrome, realiza cuidados excesivos con sus hijos o una tercera persona pensando (o mintiendo adrede) que tienen muchas enfermedades que requieren extremos cuidados y usan esto para manipular a esas personas en cuestiรณn para tenerlas bajo su poder y que sean totalmente dependientes de ellas. Generan bรกsicamente, una prisiรณn psicolรณgica donde el afectado no puede huir. Lo han descrito como el mismo vinculo que se genera con un secuestrador.
La premisa de este capitulo, parte de esto y es catalogado como **El capitulo mas fuerte de toda la serie" ya que se ven involucrados niรฑos pequeรฑos y una madre que perdiรณ completamente los estribos.
Antes de comenzar, darรฉ una alerta de spoiler porque de este capitulo quiero decir muchas cosas y me resulta difรญcil hacerlo sin dar alguno, tambien, si eres sensible, por favor, no leas esta reseรฑa porque esta fuerte asรญ que, aclarado esto, comencemos con la reseรฑa de Marta Bogado, Madre.
- Trama/Plot:
Marta Bogado (Valeria Bertuccelli) marries Pablo (Carlos Santamarina). The couple lives happily for a while until their second child is born and problems begin. Marta becomes obsessed with her children, thinking that they are always sick, taking them to the doctor constantly and dedicating herself only to them and nothing else. Pablo, on the other hand, runs away from the situation in the arms of a lover with whom he eventually goes to live, leaving Marta alone with the children. From then on, Marta's madness worsens, she is overwhelmed by being left alone with two small children, so she looks for a radical solution to everything in the middle of a psychotic attack.
Marta Bogado (Valeria Bertuccelli) se casa con Pablo (Carlos Santamarina). El matrimonio vive feliz un tiempo hasta que nace el segundo hijo y comienzan los problemas. Marta, esta se obsesiona con sus hijos pensando que siempre estรกn enfermos , llevรกndolos asรญ al medico constantemente y dedicarse solo a ellos y nada mas. Pablo, por otro lado, huye de la situaciรณn en brazos de una amante con la cual , con el tiempo se va a vivir dejando a Marta sola con los niรฑos. A partir de allรญ, la locura de Marta empeora, esta desbordada al quedarse sola con dos niรฑos pequeรฑos asรญ que, busca una soluciรณn radical a todo en medio de un ataque psicรณtico.
- Reseรฑa/Review:
The chapter is definitely one of the strongest in this series. While there are others, this one, involving children, takes the first place.
First, I want to talk about Marta. Her past with her mother, with clear mental problems, made her exercise child abuse towards a child Marta and the abandonment of her father that affected her too much. These traumas remained in her subconscious affecting her adult life, which is perfectly reproduced as she sees every scene of her childhood with Pablo, her husband. I am not justifying what Marta did, but it is clear how traumas, if not dealt with early, can have horrendous repercussions in adulthood. It would have been better for Marta not to have the children until she was emotionally well, but I am not judging her because her husband did not help her
The other highlight is the final scenes. What a great actress Marta is. When she was at the highest point of madness and the little boy saw her eyes knowing what would happen, it broke my soul and I must admit that the first time, I cried. The setting, the music, the storm sound effect, the looks that meet, everything was perfectly staged, so much so that it gives you chills.
I really liked how the story unfolded and how Marta repeated the same story of her mother only this time, it had a macabre twist where two innocent creatures paid the price. I still maintain that if they had gone to live with the father, everything could have been avoided.
The last point I want to mention is how she played with irony. In spite of taking extreme care of them, worrying excessively, ironically, she took the last breath from their bodies. In my opinion, besides being in the middle of a psychosis attack, I think she couldn't bear for them to get sick and once they were dead, she wouldn't worry about it anymore and moreover, it would save them from the same fate that befell her.. Yes, it is very sad. I get goose bumps writing this.
El capitulo definitivamente , es uno de los mas fuertes que hay en esta serie. Si bien hay otros, este , al estar involucrados niรฑos, se lleva el primer lugar.
Primero, quiero hablar de Marta. Su pasado con su madre ,con claros problemas mentales, hacรญan que ejerciera maltrato infantil hacia una Marta niรฑa y el abandono de su padre que le afectรณ en demasรญa. Esos traumas quedaron en su subconsciente afectando su vida adulta la cual, es reproducida de forma perfecta ya que esta ve cada escena de su infancia junto a Pablo, su esposo. No justifico lo que Marta hizo, pero queda claro como los traumas , si no se tratan temprano, pueden repercutir de forma horrenda en la adultez. Hubiese sido mejor que Marta no tuviera a los niรฑos hasta estar bien emocionalmente pero tampoco la juzgo porque su esposo tampoco la ayudรณ y de eso quiero hablar ahora. Pablo, es un egoรญsta sin vergรผenza, no puedo clasificarlo de otra forma. Se le hizo mas fรกcil huir con su amante que ayudar a su familia. Esta bien que se quiere separar de ella pero no de sus hijos que sabiendo lo mal que estaba Marta, igual se fue a otra ciudad con su amante. Un asco la actitud que tuvo. No podes dejar 2 niรฑos pequeรฑos con alguien inestable mentalmente. Si Tenes dos dedos de frente , sabes que mayormente eso no termina bien.
Lo otro a resaltar, son las escenas finales. Que pedazo de actriz Marta. Cuando estaba en el punto mas alto de locura y el niรฑo pequeรฑo la vio a los ojos sabiendo lo que pasarรญa me rompiรณ el alma y debo admitir que la primera vez , llore. La ambientaciรณn, la musicalizaciรณn, el efecto de sonido de tormenta, las miradas que se encuentran todo fue perfectamente montado , tanto que te da escalofrรญos.
Me gusto mucho como se desarrollaba la historia y como Marta repetรญa la misma historia de su madre solo que en esta ocasiรณn, tuvo un giro macabro donde dos criaturas inocentes pagaron el precio. Sigo sosteniendo que si se hubieran ido a vivir con el padre, todo pudo haberse evitado.
El ultimo punto que quiero mencionar es como se jugo con la ironรญa. A pesar de cuidarlos en extremo, preocupar en exceso, irรณnicamente, ella les arrebato el ultimo suspiro de sus cuerpos. En mi opiniรณn, ademรกs de estar en medio un ataque de psicosis, creo que no podรญa soportar que se enfermaran y una vez muertos, ya no se preocuparรญa por ello y ademรกs, los salvarรญa del mismo destino que tuvo ella. Si, es muy triste. Se me pone la piel de gallina escribiendo esto.
- Caso real/Real case:
The real case is quite close to what was shown on screen. I found no news, only the case described in the book where more emphasis is placed on the horrible trauma that Marta's mother caused her. Also, Marta's feelings for the children and her husband's total detachment from the situation were more deeply explained. Marta received help but too late. The crime was committed and when she regained consciousness, she ended up just like her mother. Watch the chapter if you want to know what I mean.
A sad chapter, which reflects once again the extent of childhood wounds if they are not treated in time.
El caso real es bastante apegado a lo que se mostro en pantalla. No hallรฉ noticias, solo el caso descrito en el libro donde se hace mas รฉnfasis en el horrible trauma que la madre de Marta le provocรณ. Tambiรฉn, se ahondรณ un poco mas el sentir de Marta por los niรฑos y la desligadura total del esposo de la situaciรณn. Marta recibiรณ ayuda pero tarde. El crimen estaba cometido y cuando esta recupero la lucidez, termino igual que su madre. Vean el capitulo si quieren saber a que me refiero.
Un capitulo triste, que refleja una vez mรกs, hasta donde llegan las heridas de la infancia si no son tratadas a tiempo.
