Have you ever heard the phrase: "That woman is a black widow "? The chapter I'm reviewing today of the Argentinean series, based on real events, perfectly captures the concept of this phrase where men surrender to the arms of a woman, even if she devours them, in order to satisfy their sexual appetite.
A woman with a beautiful face, the body of a goddess, a flirtatious and manipulative attitude, is the ideal black widow who weaves her web where any male would fall in order to be with her. Margarita Herlein is just that, a black widow with all the necessary qualities that resemble this spider. Based on this, I believe that @promete0sz and @eliudgnzlz would be an easy prey for The man tester who is only interested in satisfying her darkest needs.

El capรญtulo que vengo a reseรฑar hoy de la serie Argentina, basada en hechos reales, nos plasma perfectamente el concepto de esta frase donde hombres se entregan a los brazos de una mujer, aunque esta los devore , con tal de satisfacer su apetito sexual.
Una fรฉmina con rostro hermoso, cuerpo de diosa, actitud coqueta y manipuladora, es la viuda negra ideal que teje su tela donde cualquier macho caerรญa con tal de estar con ella. Margarita Herlein es eso, una viuda negra en pinta con todas las cualidades necesarias que la asemejan a esta araรฑa. Partiendo de esto, yo creo que @promete0sz y @eliudgnzlz serian una presa fรกcil para La probadora de hombres a la cual, solo le interesa satisfacer sus necesidades mรกs oscuras.
- Trama/Plot:
The plot doesn't really have a lot of twists and turns. Margarita Herlein is a beautiful, seductive woman and men fall at her feet, literally. She shows them love and when she gets bored of them, she eliminates them in a way that no one notices until after committing several murders. The plot is pretty simple and the chapter doesn't just tell you that with the title (as usual) but it starts straight to the point, like most of them and that's what I like the most since it calms my anxiety ha,ha,ha,ha.
A la trama no hay muchas vueltas que darle realmente. Margarita Herlein es una mujer hermosa, seductora y los hombres caen a sus pies, literal. Ella les demuestra amor y cuando se aburre de ellos, los elimina de una forma que nadie lo nota hasta despuรฉs de cometer varios asesinatos. La trama es bastante simple y el capitulo no solo te lo dice con el titulo (como de costumbre) sino que empieza directo al grano, como la mayorรญa de ellos y eso es lo mas me gusta ya que calma mi ansiedad ja,ja,ja.
- Reseรฑa/Review:
This is not one of my favorite chapters. To tell the truth, it was quite boring because not only was there no mystery of what happens but it was repetitive. I know I said I like to get to the point with the plot but this one was very, very repetitive and it didn't strengthen me why Margarita was like that. It kept repeating the same sequence of Margarita getting bored over and over again, that made the chapter heavy for me ha,ha,ha,ha.
What I like is that it makes her madness even more evident, with the previous act before their partners' last breath of life leaves their bodies. That moment before the death of her victim is typical of an unhinged black widow emanating insecurity through her pores by always repeating the phrase "Did you like it?
The subplot of the brother of one of the victims was unnecessary because with simple flashbacks, as they always do, it would have been enough to know about the character's past,
The setting and music, as always, were in line and I loved it, only critic that the plot lacked more substance. Why was Margarita so macabre? Why does she kill the men if she gets bored rather than leave them? Does she do this before they leave her because of her own insecurity of not feeling enough? I must admit that, at least in my case, this chapter played with my mind a little bit because I wanted to know where the black widow comes from but for that, I went to see the real case.
Este no es de mis capรญtulos favoritos. La verdad, se me hizo bastante aburrido porque no solo no hubo misterio de lo que pasa sino que se me hizo repetitivo. Se que dije que me gusta que vayan al grano con la trama pero esta era muy , muy repetitiva y no me fortaleciรณ el porque Margarita era asรญ. Se repetรญa la misma secuencia de Margarita aburriรฉndose una y otra vez , eso me hizo pesado el capitulo ja,ja,ja.
Lo que me gusta es que deja en evidencia la locura de esta mas aun, con el acto previo antes de que a sus parejas se les vaya el รบltimo suspiro de vida de sus cuerpos. Ese momento previo a la muerte de su victima es tรญpico de una viuda negra desquiciada emanando inseguridad por los poros al repetir siempre la frase ยฟTe gusto?
La subtrama del hermano de una de las victimas se me hizo innecesaria porque con simples flashbacks. como hacen siempre, hubiera bastado para conocer del pasado del personaje aunque le dio mas el toque policial pero no se, no me gusto tanto . Tal vez el actor no transmitiรณ mucho la desesperaciรณn de ver que su hermano Moria y nadie hacia nada.
La ambientaciรณn y musicalizaciรณn como siempre, acorde , me encantรณ , solo critico ese detalle de que le falto mas sustancia a la trama ยฟPor quรฉ Margarita era tan macabra? ยฟPor quรฉ mata a los hombres si se aburre antes que dejarlos? ยฟAcaso esto lo hace antes de que la abandonen ellos por su misma inseguridad de no sentirse suficiente? Debo admitir que, al menos en mi caso, jugรณ un poco con mi mente este capitulo porque querรญa saber de donde surge la viuda negra pero para eso, me fui a ver el caso real.
- Caso real/Real case:
Margarita, as they say, killed 4 men (3 husbands and a lover) between 1958 and 1978. The events occurred only 35 km from my home and one of the things that makes me feel more this series is just that, that many cases were so close and thus, I can better empathize with the protagonists, especially with the victims.
The journalistic notes denote some differences with the chapter. Margarita was known as the black widow in pint but Pol-ka (The production house) was sued for misrepresenting the facts since Margarita in real life, was sentenced for the death of only one person and was not a serial killer as she was shown on screen. So Margarita was not as much of a man tester as she was shown. What is true to the real case is the part about her insecurity, instilled by her mother as she was required to always look pretty and that men would only look at her for that.
**At least in prison I no longer worry about men liking me", was Margarita's phrase after being sentenced to life imprisonment.
Margarita segรบn dicen , acabรณ con la vida de 4 hombres (3 esposos y un amante) entre los aรฑos 1958 y 1978. Los hechos ocurrieron a tan solo 35 km de mi hogar y una de las cosas que me hace sentir mas esta serie es justamente eso, que muchos casos fueron tan cerca y asรญ, puedo empatizar mejor con los protagonistas sobre todo, con las victimas.
Las notas periodรญsticas denotan algunas diferencias con el capitulo . Margarita era conocida como la viuda negra en pinta pero Pol-ka (La casa productora) se comiรณ una demanda por trasgiversar los hecho ya que Margarita en la vida real, fue sentenciada por la muerte de una sola persona y no era una asesina en serie como se la mostrรณ en pantalla. Asรญ que Margarita no eran tan probadora de hombres como se mostrรณ. Lo que si es fiel al caso real es la parte de su inseguridad, inculcada por su madre ya que se le exigรญa estar siempre bonita y que los hombres solo la mirarรญan por eso.
Al menos en la cรกrcel ya no me preocupo por gustarle a los hombres , fue la frase de Margarita despuรฉs de ser condenada a cadena perpetua.
In conclusion, I recommend the chapter if you are bored but if you are looking for a strong episode, faithful to the real case, this is not it. I think there are better adapted and better put together episodes, with a more powerful plot to explore. Araceli Gonzalez's performance gives it a touch but not enough to make it a very good episode. She was in other chapters and she really shined there but I will talk about those another time. Greetings and thanks for reading.
En conclusiรณn, recomiendo el capitulo si estas aburrido pero si buscas un episodio fuerte, fiel al caso real, este no es. Opino que hay episodios mejores adaptados y mejores armados, con una trama mas potente por explorar. La actuaciรณn de Araceli Gonzรกlez le da el toque pero no lo suficiente como para que el capitulo sea muy bueno. Ella estuvo en otros capรญtulos y ahรญ si que se luciรณ pero de esos hablarรฉ en otra ocasiรณn. Saludos y gracias por leer.
