(Esp/Eng) Sof & quiet - Review whitout spoilers

Racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism are expressions of hatred totally repudiated today. Before, even more so in the time of the Second World War back in the 40s, these distillations of racial supremacy under the command of Nazism, were something recurrent, a lifestyle and policy that even if you were on the side of those sectors of the population considered as "inferior" in the eyes of the "Aryan" race, morally superior at that time according to the totalitarian regime imposed and its followers, your fate was an almost certain death or a miserable life in a concentration camp and horrible things happened there.

The movie I will review below is not a war movie or anything like that but boy does it reflect that racial hatred in a disgusting, revolting but perfectly demonstrated way. I say perfectly because you are going to hate every single one of the women that appear here and are part of "The Hate Club ".

El racismo, la xenofobia, el antisemitismo son expresiones de odio totalmente repudiables hoy en día. Antes, más aún en la época de la segunda guerra mundial allá por los años 40, estas destilaciones de supremacía racial bajo el mando del nazismo , eran algo recurrente , un estilo de vida y política que incluso , si eras del bando de esos sectores de la población considerados como "inferiores" antes los ojos de la raza "aria", moralmente superior en aquel tiempo según el régimen totalitario impuesto y sus seguidores, tu destino era una muerte casi segura o una vida miserable en algún campo de concentración y vaya que pasaban cosas horribles allí.

La película que reseñaré a continuación no es de guerra ni nada por el estilo pero vaya que refleja ese odio racial de una forma asquerosa, repugnante pero perfectamente demostrado. Digo perfectamente porque vas a odiar a cada una de las mujeres que aparecen aquí y forman parte de "El club del odio".

The film revolves around a group of seemingly normal women with normal jobs, normal families, normal jobs, etc. Each has her own life, yes, but they all have one thing in common and that is the fact that they are all horribly racist.

From the beginning you can tell in the main character (Emily, the innocent looking teacher), she has a problem with brown people. You can see that in how she looks at the clearly Latina cleaning lady, how she treats her and how she instills that hatred indirectly in a child by disguising her racial bigotry with a "you should stand up for yourself". That gesture was disgusting to me and from that moment on, I started to hate her but I said: Let's give her another chance, anyone can be wrong but I should have suspected since she drew a swastika on a cake that I was going to hate her more.

La película gira en torno a un grupo de mujeres en apariencia normales con trabajos normales, familias normales, empleos normales, etc. Cada una tiene su vida , si, pero todas tienen algo en común y es el hecho de que todas son horriblemente racistas.

Desde el comienzo se nota en el personaje principal (Emily, la profesora de apariencia inocente) , tiene un problema con las personas morenas. Eso se puede ver en como mira a la empelada de limpieza claramente latina, como la trata y como inculca ese odio de forma indirecta en un niño disfrazando su intolerancia racial con un "debes defenderte ". Ese gesto fue asqueroso para mi y desde ese momento, comencé a odiarla pero dije: Vamos a darle otra oportunidad, cualquiera puede equivocarse pero debí sospechar desde que dibujó una esvástica en un pastel que iba a odiarla mas.

Each character is more outrageous and miserable than the last and the worst thing is that they gather in a church to distill their venom. They believe they are right in everything they think, backing themselves up with nonsense data they heard from unreliable sources and obviously blaming their personal miseries on foreigners when in reality, the blame for their misfortunes lies with themselves and no one else.

It is horrifying and chilling to see how women who teach our children, devoted mothers, grocers, in short, common people, hide behind that facade a monster more terrifying than anyone who appears in a movie. This film proves that there is no monster more frightening than the human being.

Cada personaje es mas indignante y miserable que el anterior y lo peor es que se reúnen en una iglesia para destilar su veneno. Ellas creen tener la razón en todo lo que piensan respaldándose de datos sin sentido que oyeron de fuentes poco confiables además de obviamente, echar las culpas de sus miserias personales a los extranjeros cuando en realidad, la culpa de sus desdichas es de ellas mismas y nadie mas.

Es horrible y escalofriante ver como mujeres que dan clases a nuestros niños, mamás devotas, almaceneras en fin, gente común, esconden detrás de esa fachada un monstruo mas aterrador que cualquiera que salga en una película. Esta película demuestra que no hay monstruo mas temible que el ser humano.

It is an outrageous film to the bone and will make you wish that each one of them will pay in the worst way for everything, since until the last moment, many of them continued to hold on to their belief that everything was the fault of others, a clear sign of their resentment towards life for not being able to achieve things that others can. Instead of improving, they only sink deeper into their misery by venting their anger on people they believe to be inferior and guilty of their misfortunes. This combination generates a tense atmosphere from the beginning that gradually increases until finally, everything explodes in the worst way. As if it were a fire that instead of being extinguished only intensifies more and more sweeping away everything in its path.

Undoubtedly, a film that will leave a bad taste in your mouth from beginning to end. Disturbing, deafening, incredible are just a few adjectives for this excellent film where it is clear that in some parts of the world there are still people who believe in white supremacy, something that we thought was in the past but apparently it is still very present, just from the shadows.

Es una película indignante hasta los huesos y te va a hacer desear que cada una de ellas pague de la peor forma por todo ya que hasta el ultimo momento, muchas seguían sosteniendo su creencia y que todo era culpa de los demás, clara muestra de su resentimiento ante la vida por no poder lograr cosas que otros si. En vez de mejorar solo se hunden mas en su miseria descargando su ira con la gente que ellas creen inferiores y culpable de sus desgracias. Esta combinación genera un clima tenso desde el principio que va aumentando gradualmente hasta que finalmente, todo explota de la peor forma. Como si fuera un incendio que en vez de apagarse solo se intensifica mas y mas arrasando con todo a su paso.

Sin duda, una película que te dejara un mal sabor de boca de principio a fin. Inquietante, ensordecedora, increíble son solo algunos adjetivos para esta excelente película donde queda claro como en algunos lugares del mundo aun hay personas que creen en la supremacía blanca cosa que creíamos había quedado en el pasado pero al parecer esta bastante presente solo que desde las sombras.
