2022 ha sido un año bastante interesante en el cine familiar. Principalmente se han estrenado varias películas como “Bad Guys”, “Sonic 2” y “Turning Red”. Lo que tienen en común estas 3 películas es que en ellas se encuentran animales antropomórficos que interactúan con las personas en un entorno normal, incluso muchos usuarios en internet (inclusive yo) creemos que los furros están invadiendo el entretenimiento. Debo admitir que nos han traído grandes metrajes, y este del que hablaremos no es la excepción.

Quizás algunos usuarios de la plataforma quienes ya tengan su marcada edad, recuerden una vieja serie de los 80s/90s perteneciente a Disney de Chip& Dale, quienes eran unos detectives y resolvían misterios. Siendo sincero nunca la alcancé a ver, o al menos no que yo lo recuerde. Pero más de uno debió haber visto aunque sea un capitulo cuando era pequeño. 30 años después desde su transmisión, el dúo dinámico regresa con una película, y debo decir que es una gran película, Una película donde se mezcla, no solo la animación 2D sino también la 3D y Live-action, fue algo inesperado, pero que mucho (incluyéndome) agradecemos.

Sinopsis

Chip y Dale viven junto con caricaturas y humanos en el actual Los Ángeles, aunque sus vidas son muy diferentes. Décadas después de la cancelación de su exitosa serie de televisión, estos viejos amigos han tomado rumbos distintos; pero cuando un excompañero desaparece misteriosamente, deberán retomar su rol como detectives para salvarlo.

Crìtica

No sè por dónde empezar con esta película. Y es que es toda una bomba. La verdad es que hasta hace un par de semanas oí de ella pero no le di importancia. No vi el tráiler ni nada. Entonces vi que otras personas empezaron a hablar de ella y de paso me tomé el chance de ver el tráiler. Fue entonces que me decidí verla para ver qué tal y déjenme decir que es de las mejores películas infantiles que he visto en mucho tiempo. Supongo que esta es la emoción que sintió la gente en los años 80`s cuando vieron por primera vez “¿Quién engañó a Roger Rabbit?” (Quien por cierto aparece en la película).

Es increíble ver a tantos personajes no solo de la animación occidental, sino también algunas referencias a la animación japonesa. Un mundo donde las caricaturas y humanos interactúan de lo más normal. Este concepto lo vimos el año pasado en películas como la de “Tom & Jerry” y “Space Jam 2” pero lastimosamente éstas no fueron muy bien recibidas. Sin embargo, aquí todo se siente bastante espontaneo y curioso. Me gustarìa vivir en un mundo asì, aunque algunas veces lo veo un poco engorroso, pero igual amo la animaciòn.

Contar la cantidad de personajes y referencias que aparecen aquí me llevaría demasiado tiempo, muchos personajes de no solamente Disney sino Warner, Dreamworks, Universal y hasta Nickelodeon. Sin embargo, no te cansa ni tampoco te genera algún tipo de convulsión (ejem, ejem, Space Jam 2). La historia no es la gran cosa debo admitir, es bastante predecible. Sin embargo, la historia es lo de menos, porque al final prefieres ver cómo funciona ese mundo y a cual personaje veras de fondo. Te garantizo que tu tarde no pasarás en vano, te reirás en varias ocasiones y te agradará la imagen y como está filmado todo. Notas que la cámara enfoca bien a los personajes, los actores Live-action interactúan bien con los personajes animados, no se siente todo muy estático como en algunas producciones, y tampoco sientes como si te estuviesen mostrando un largo comercial de algo como la plataforma de Disney+, y si es así, es un muy buen comercial a mi parecer.

Calificaciòn

Es por eso que yo le doy una calificación de 8.8. Si éstas muy aburrido y quieres pasar bien un viernes por la noche o un sábado (dependiendo del día que más te guste para distraerte) esta es la película ideal. Sobre todo para los amantes de la cultura pop.

2022 has been quite an interesting year in family movies. Mainly several movies have been released such as "Bad Guys", "Sonic 2" and "Turning Red". What these 3 movies have in common is that they feature anthropomorphic animals interacting with people in a normal environment, even many internet users (including me) believe that furros are invading entertainment. I must admit that they have brought us great footage, and this one we are going to talk about is no exception.

Perhaps some users of the platform who already have their marked age, remember an old series of the 80's-90's belonging to Disney of Chip & Dale, who were detectives and solved mysteries. To be honest I never got to see it, or at least not that I remember. But more than one of us must have seen at least one episode when we were kids. 30 years after its transmission, the dynamic duo returns with a movie, and I must say that it is a great movie, a movie that mixes not only 2D animation but also 3D and Live-action, it was something unexpected, but that many (including me) are grateful for.

Synopsis

Chip and Dale live alongside cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles, though their lives are very different. Decades after the cancellation of their hit TV series, these old friends have gone their separate ways; but when a former classmate mysteriously disappears, they must resume their role as detectives to save him.

Review

I don't know where to start with this movie. It's a real bomb. The truth is that until a couple of weeks ago I heard about it but I didn't give it any importance. I didn't see the trailer or anything. Then I saw that other people started talking about it and I took the chance to see the trailer. It was then that I decided to watch it to see what it was like and let me say that it is one of the best children's movies I have seen in a long time. I guess this is the excitement people felt in the 80's when they first saw "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (who by the way appears in the movie).

It is amazing to see so many characters not only from western animation, but also some references to Japanese animation. A world where cartoons and humans interact in the most normal way. We saw this concept last year in movies like "Tom & Jerry" and "Space Jam 2" but unfortunately these were not very well received. However, here everything feels quite spontaneous and curious.

To count the amount of characters and references that appear here would take me too long, many characters from not only Disney but Warner, Dreamworks, Universal and even Nickelodeon. However, it doesn't tire you out nor does it generate any kind of convulsion (ahem, ahem, Space Jam 2). The story is no big deal I must admit, it's pretty predictable. However, the story is the least of it, because in the end you'd rather see how the world works and which character you'll see in the background. I guarantee that your afternoon will not be wasted, you will laugh on several occasions and you will like the image and how everything is filmed. You notice that the camera focuses well on the characters, the live-action actors interact well with the animated characters, everything doesn't feel too static like in some productions, and you don't feel like you're being shown a long commercial for something like the Disney+ platform, and if so, it's a very good commercial in my opinion.

Rating

That's why I give it an 8.8 rating. If you're really bored and want to have a good time on a Friday night or Saturday (depending on which day you like to distract yourself the most) this is the ideal movie. Especially for pop culture lovers.
