For many of us Hayao Miyazaki is more than a film director, he is a friend who showed us the magic of nature, someone who always brought music and colors into our lives from far away Japan. Nausicaä del Valle del Viento was born as a graphic novel made by the same director in 1982, and although it was later that Ghibli Studios was created, it is considered the first film from these studios because it was thanks to it that they could be created.

Nausicaä del Valle del Viento nació como una novela gráfica realizada por el mismo director en 1982, y aunque fue luego que se creó Estudios Ghibli, se le considera la primera película de estos estudios porque gracias a ella fue que se pudieron crear.
It saw the light in 1984, long before I was even born, and I managed to see it after I was 21, but that does not detract from how current it is. The relationship of the human being with nature, the irrational fear of the unknown, the hatred of the new, those are things that this film makes us reflect on.

La relación del ser humano con la naturaleza, el miedo irracional ante lo desconocido, el odio hacia lo nuevo, esas son cosas de las que nos hace reflexionar esta película.
The story of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind tells us that a thousand years have passed since the war known as the Seven Days of Fire, during which most of life was destroyed. The survivors of the disaster live in fear due to the growth of a forest that houses huge insects and plants that emanate poisonous spores that could kill them.
La historia de Nausicaä del Valle del Viento nos cuenta que han pasado mil años desde la guerra conocida como los Siete Días de Fuego, durante los cuales la mayor parte de la vida fue destruida. Los supervivientes del desastre viven con miedo debido al crecimiento de un bosque que alberga en su interior enormes insectos y plantas que emanan esporas venenosas que podría matarles.
Nausucaä del Valle del Viento has a lot of ecological symbolism in terms of caring for our planet and the animals that inhabit it. Although for some it may seem strange or even too mature, but it will not go out of style since it is an ode to nature and all the good that can come from it. So if you did not see it, I recommend you look for it, the animation is great and the music is very sublime, here is the trailer. Nausucaä del Valle del Viento tiene mucho simbolismo ecologista en cuanto al cuidado de nuestro planeta y los animales que habitan en ella. Aunque para algunos les puede parecer extraña o incluso demasiado madura, pero no pasará de moda ya que es una oda a la naturaleza y a todo lo bueno que puede venir de ella. Por lo cual si no la viste te recomiendo que la busques, la animación es genial y la música es muy sublime, por acá te dejo el trailer. Si la viste, creo que deberías verla de nuevo, al menos a mí me da esperanzas.
