This film directed by the famed Steven Spielberg is based on a true story and shows the life of Frank Abagnale Jr. who before his nineteenth birthday made millions of dollars by posing as an airline pilot, a doctor and a lawyer and specialized in forging checks.

The screenplay was adapted by Jeff Nathanson, who by then was known for his work on the Rush Hour film series, based on Abagnale's autobiographical novel of the same name.

The film stars two well-known actors, Leonardo DiCaprio who plays Frank Abagnale Jr., who runs away from home after his parents' divorce when he was still a minor and with an uncanny ability inherited from his father starts running small bank scams and then poses as a Pan Am airline pilot to collect a paycheck, travel for free and continue scamming, this time with an airline check.

His need is growing as the money comes to him easily, while he maintains communication with his father, who since before the divorce was fleeing for being accused of tax fraud and tries to help him on several occasions but he refuses to be helped.

On the other hand, Tom Hanks plays Carl Hanratty, an FBI agent specialized in check fraud, but he manages to outwit him, even when he meets him the first time at the hotel where he was staying and he pretends to be a secret service agent named Barry Allen.

The film is a cat and mouse game until the detective achieves his goal, after persevering in the chase, and this leads to the creation of bonds between the two.

Also playing roles in the film are well-known actors Christopher Walken, Martin Sheen, James Brolin and Brian Howe.

It is one of the movies that I have always liked to see several times, because of the real story and the life of this character and even more knowing how he transformed it, excellent commentary friend.
