El secreto de sus ojos (2009)

This is a 2009 Argentinean drama thriller film directed by Juan José Campanella, based on the novel The Question in Their Eyes by Eduardo Sacheri, who co-wrote the screenplay with Campanella.

It tells the story of a judicial investigator named Benjamín Espósito. After retiring, he decides to write a novel based on an unsolved rape and murder case that happened decades ago.
