"Finch" is a sci-fi/drama film that follows the story of a lonely engineer named Finch, played by Tom Hanks.

He is a lonely engineer, a melancholic and reflective guy, struggling to find meaning in life.

He is the last man on Earth and lives in a post-apocalyptic world after a solar flare destroyed the ozone layer, turning planet Earth into a largely uninhabitable wasteland ravaged by extreme weather phenomena while being scorched by the sun's ultraviolet rays.

After ten years of living in the bunker with his dog Goodyear and manufacturing the robot, who is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence, he emerges to the surface still fraught with danger.

The film follows Finch and Jeff as they embark on a road trip in search of a safe place to live.

While facing various challenges and dangers along the way, Finch struggles to keep Jeff safe and discover the meaning of life in a desolate world.

The film was directed by Miguel Sapochnik, known for his work on "Game of Thrones" and written by Craig Luck and Ivor Powell.

It was released through the Apple TV platform in November 2021.

The movie received positive reviews highlighting the role of Ton Hanks and the plot that alerts us to an uncertain future.
