This is a romantic film directed by Adrian Powers, who also co-wrote the screenplay, set in Australia, specifically in the far north of Queensland, where Fullerton Airlines serves the residents of the area and the local islands.
The plot revolves around this small, family-run airline where Dana Randall is the pilot who does the work of carrying parcels, supplies and ferrying tourists.
One day, William Mitchell, the son of the owner of ITCM Financial, the investment company behind the small airline, arrives from London with the task of closing down the small airline because it is financially unprofitable.
On the spot he accompanies the attractive pilot on her deliveries and a mutual attraction is born between the two, which puts the man in a dilemma as the decision to close the company is already made.
There are events that spice things up and situations that provoke unexpected twists and turns that lead to a somewhat predictable but interesting ending.
The cinematography by Tony O'Loughlan is excellent, as are the landscapes of the region.
Delta Goodrem an Australian musician, songwriter, television personality and actress plays the role of Dana Randall, while Joshua Sasse iBritish actor. He is known for playing Sir Galavant on ABC's Galavant. as William, also starring Roy Billing as Jeff and Steph Tisdell as Nikki.
The film was released on September 28th on the streaming platform Netflix to mixed reviews.
It's a good choice for family viewing if you like the genre.
