I really enjoyed this film, for its original script and the moments in which we can see that even death succumbs to female charms.

On this occasion this is not represented by a woman nor by a terrifying being who comes to do a job, but by an attractive young man, d times words, who agrees with his victim to wait a few days to do his job, materializing and living with people.

He also actively participates in what is left of William Parrish's life, played by Anthony Hopkins, and as a gift he helps him to recover his company, which had been taken away from him by some of his partners.

Brad Pitt, plays one of his best roles but the film obtains a little more than 142 million dollars in box office, being considered for many a failure, taking into account the status of its two protagonists, however the cost of the same was 90 million, some consider that the three hours of duration of the same was the cause of this.

However I found it an interesting drama and the scenes in which William's daughter, named Susan and played by Claire Forlani, with Joe Black, the name invented to be able to coexist humans with death, are very good, there is distilled the seduction that ends up making love arise between the two and teach death the true meaning of this.

The director of this film is the same of "Scent of a Woman", Martin Brest and it is based on the play Death Takes a Holiday, which was released in 1934.

It provides us with very deep questions such as: What is living, having it all, achieving success, or having loved? And it also shows us the ironies of living, of impossible love, of dying when we think we can have more than what we possess and of ending up accepting that happiness can also be in leaving everything behind and accepting to leave this world.

Personally, I had a feast with this film production and I recommend you to watch it, if you haven't done it yet.
