I found this movie interesting because it mixes reality with fantasy that revolves around romance and a set of actions that make the viewer stay attentive to the development of the plot.

The plot is based on a strange event that happened to the protagonist that thanks to this her body does not suffer changes over time and remains young, which makes her live a life in hiding to avoid being investigated by the government.

On her way from one place to another she has several romances from whom she flees to avoid confessing the truth, until Ellis appears, played by Michiel Huisman, Dutch actor, known for lending his voice to the character Linguinis in the film Ratatouille in the Dutch version.

The main role is played by Blake Lively, winner in 2005 and 2008 of the Teen Choice Awards for her appearance in Gossip Girl, the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2008 as a revelation actress in Elvis and Anabelle and other awards, she plays Adaline and Jenny, who is the same woman and the film also features Harrison Ford as William Jones, father of the protagonist.

The film was directed by Lee Toland Krieger, grandson of actor Lee Krieger, who had previously only directed the films The Vicious Kind (2009) and Celeste and Jesse Forever (2012) and the script was written by J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz.

It was released on April 24, 2015 and the cost to shoot it was 25 million while the collection exceeded 65 million, the critics were positive, highlighting the fact that it raises a controversial fact such as living many years and not fulfilling the cycle of life, as it ends up being alone.

Without being a super production, the film is entertaining and fulfills the mission of reaching the hearts of viewers for being different and having many unexpected twists.

I recommend it to watch it as a couple since romance is the main character.
