For all of us who are fans of The Walking Dead, it is evident that the series has decayed in quality due to the bad decisions of the plot and the development of characters, especially changing enormously the reality of several characters (unjustified deaths) that are so missing at the moment.

For several seasons we have begun to miss characters that so much contributed and that we had become so attached, but well that's life we must move forward hoping that the series manages to recover. A week ago the new season began and I want to share some of my thoughts on the matter.

We see how members of the allied communities find themselves at Ocean Side training and preparing for any eventual and possible attack, the characters are focused and obsessed with being prepared, they don't want to be caught off guard again. You can see that they are still shocked by Alpha and his group of assassins.

We quickly realize that this chapter is told in several parts, so little by little join in an initial plot that is interesting, and yes it does.

We see as a group of people who before were ruthless and brave now act very carefully to avoid engaging in a war that are sure they will lose. After many tense glances and discussions the members of Ocean Side decide to extinguish the fire in spite of the conflicts that crossing the border of Alpha could generate.

Working as a team and with a lot of effort our protagonists manage to control the fire and avoid any possible disaster, but when everything seemed to have gone well we see how from the top of a hill Carol realizes that Alpha was watching them all the time and therefore a war could be about to explode.

The way they manage to build the tension and emotion of old events is tremendous because we quickly re-enter the usual dynamics of the series.

Finally a very good way to start a journey that will be very hard and that will generate a lot of deaths and conflicts.
