A week ago I told you that one of the series that has me hooked the most is Legacies, because it is a series about vampires, werewolves, witches and all kinds of creatures that are built on a whole universe of series; Because yes friends Marvel and Disney have done a great job building a superhero film universe but Warner and CW have done a great job building small series universes, they not only have built their own superhero universe but also did a great job giving life to series in a paranormal universe.

Legacies is a really interesting series that gives continuity to the adventures of the heirs of old and famous characters from other series, characters that relive the extreme and dangerous adventures of all kinds of supernatural creatures.

In short to what you came for, this is my review of chapter two of the new season.

In the first chapter we find out that Hope was finally released from the prison she fell into after entering the interior of Malivore looking to destroy that wretched pit of death, finally after Hope is released she realizes that beyond being free again she will have to face the fact that everyone has forgotten her and that most of her friends have moved on with their lives.

So this chapter continues immediately where the first chapter left us; with Hope hunting the apparent Troll who broke free and who is desperately trying to kill her, the hunt takes her to a school where "surprisingly" Alaric is found, who occupies the position of principal after being removed as director of the School for Paranormal Youth. This reunion is very emotional because Alaric has been for years the closest paternal figure remaining to Hope, a man who took her under his mantle and has educated and protected her for the past few years. However, he doesn't remember her either and on the contrary, he mistrusts her to the point of asking her to move away and let him deal with the troll, obviously Hope ignores him and on the contrary, decides to team up with Alaric to hunt the troll more quickly. Finally, the story advances and both get rid of the troll remembering the time when they used to hunt other monsters together.

For example, there is a new principal who seems to be a very powerful sorcerer and who emanates an aura of suspense and notable distrust. In addition we have all this new dynamic between Landon and Josie who want to start a relationship but do not know how.

The chapter takes two very marked plot paths that serve to give us a preview of what we will see later, a chapter that ends in a very emotional way with Alaric discovering that Hope hides something and with her telling all the truth to Alaric who despite having forgotten her gives her hand and feels sorry for her.

Chapter Conclusions

This is a very good second chapter because besides showing us two precise and direct plots separately is throwing us some mysteries that will undoubtedly mark the entire course of the main story in the season, some suspicious elements that make us think that something huge is about to be unleashed for the group of supernatural young people. But in short, a chapter that stands out for the reunion of some characters that will have a lot of impact on the plot and that begin to develop very interesting stories among them. A chapter that ends emotionally with Hope telling all the truth to who for years was her father, a man who embraces her and tells her that despite not remembering her he will be with her and not abandon her, a hope that not only reunites with Alaric but also has a very emotional moment with Landon.

A chapter with a great photography and shots that highlight the gloomy settings that give us a magical context very well achieved where they also highlight the special effects of the characters when they use magic.

In summary a series and a very entertaining chapter that I highly recommend that you see before it is filled with more seasons and chapters, so go and see it now that it is only 2 seasons.
