Last Sunday was a great day for the series because HBO released three new productions that I had been waiting for a while. One of those series caused me a lot of curiosity for the apparent way in which their plot was going to develop, and let me tell you that after seeing the firsts chapters I have to say that this is a very different series, an adult and mature series but with many dramatic tints that become comical in many moments by the level of realism they show; Yes I am referring to Mrs. Fletcher.

The first bars of the series show us the whole process of farewell of a depressed and sad mother who has to let go of her son, someone who basically means everything to her but evidently does not appreciate her so much and only wants to finish what remains of his stay in his native town having fun with his "friends".

It is extremely funny to see these moments of goodbye where the young man's mother is collecting memories while packing the things of his son, while he is having sex in his room with a young woman, yes, the young man is super shameless. This is not the typical story of the union and departure of a mother and her son, but rather the story of a mother who must find a new direction for a life that was marked by satisfying the whims of her son. Forgetting us a little of that goodbye that is what detonates the rest of the plot, we will see how this woman quickly begins to explore options to meddle in this new stage of her life, a new stage that will lead her to a more entertaining, liberal and ... sexual life.

Quickly the series manages to jump from sad moments to exciting and entertaining moments that will undoubtedly mark the tempo and rhythm of the series within an atmosphere of something milfy where an older woman will be rediscovering through the infinite world of information in order to find entertaining ways to spend most of her time.

The series manages from the beginning to capture that problematic essence that I like so much in series that combine drama and comedy in different relationships between all kinds of people who simply want to have fun. This makes the series has a very good photography, where the environments are colorful and the scenes full of life, scenes that stand out very much for the way they are combined with a really intense soundtrack that manages to form a connection with the audience.

No doubt the series left me a great taste because it establishes itself as an adult version of those typical youth dramas that tend to fade and lose a lot of strength because of the eternal clichés they use to make us connect with the characters. In this series we have an excellent cast that takes its work seriously and that not only dedicates itself to showing superficial moments, here the protagonist is adult, behaves as such but also has moments of weakness that end up marking the course of her life. In conclusion this one seems to me that it will become one of my favorite comedies-dramatic of this season.
