After a long wait, one of the series that I was most looking forward to seeing again has begun its new season, Yes, I'm talking about Silicon Valley, a series about technology with a comic essence that makes it stand out above any comic and technological standard because in its plot shows us a very entertaining portrait of the lives of different developers and visionaries who want to succeed in a world as complex as the world of technology.

In short, the whole path of the first seasons leads us to see the evolution and adaptation of a revolutionary idea until it becomes something concrete and with a firm objective, to offer a freer alternative to networks and above all to the current Internet; something that without a doubt many of us would like to have.

The new season transports us immediately where last season ended, Richard has managed to establish Pied Piper and is now defending it before Congress by giving a speech about the free use of the internet, confronting other technological giants and putting them in the spotlight for their constant manipulation and violation of the privacy of their users, a speech that although we see in a series of comedies reflects something that has become very important in the real world, because for no one is a secret that everything we write and publish on the networks is fully monitored and compiled by other companies to create databases that they can use for all sorts of things.

In short, the series continues with all the hilarious dynamics of the group now dressing everything with a "corporate" tone that makes things even more entertaining and funny, we constantly see the interaction that Dinesh and Gilfoyle have managed to forge, a very peculiar friendship thanks to the fact that the latter has programmed a bot to impersonate him and make him interact with Dinesh and thus deceive him, in the end the battle between these two continues, a battle that gets better and better and where Gilfoyle continues to be the master of delusion and satire making Dinesh humiliate himself constantly.

However, the best part of the chapter, beyond allowing us to meet the characters and their group dynamics, focuses on an element that arose from Richard's speech at the congress, the violation of users' privacy; and that is when Richard discovers that one of its main developers has been recording users' conversations while playing a game through the decentralized network in order to collect data and "improve" the game. Initially this causes Richard to get angry and decide to confront the developer but everything ends in an unexpected event that the developer takes advantage of in his favor.

This is undoubtedly a great chapter, because it makes us connect again with the characters presenting us with a modern theme that we should all know; the constant violation of our privacy, a repetitive theme but in the same way should not be taken lightly. In addition, I believe that from this chapter we will be able to intuit where the series will go, taking the adaptation of free networks as the main technological argument of the plot. In general, a very funny chapter that gives us a lot of funny moments and something peculiar that reminds us why this series is so entertaining.

One thing that perhaps goes unnoticed in this series are the technical aspects, aspects that are very well implemented, here we have no inventions or non-existent technological technicism, the series bases most of its content on real technical aspects that could come into existence at any time.
