Taking advantage of the fact that we are in Halloween time, I would like to give you my opinion about a movie that I was waiting a lot when it came out and that ended up being a total disaster because of the way they decided to elaborate the whole atmosphere of terror around the story, a story lacking in strength and full of boredom, I'm talking about The Nun.

The Nun tells us the story of one of the demonic specters that came out in The Conjuring 2 and caused a lot of trouble and terror to different people, a really evil specter that fed on the fear it caused in people, an enigmatic specter that was dedicated to doing a lot of harm in. Finally this film tries to give us a little background to the story of this demon disguised as a nun who was responsible for killing a lot of people, the whole story takes place in a distant convent full of mystery and where death-haunted everywhere, However, the problem with the plot is that it doesn't tell us how that demon came into existence or how it ended up in the convent or something more interesting, basically the plot of the film is dedicated to showing us how this demonic spectrum disguised as a nun ravages a group of nuns and then a priest who is looking for answers to the disappearance of a lot of people in the convent.

Basically, this film doesn't make sense, it's a total waste of time because it brings neither terror nor drama and much less intensity to a terrifying mini-universe that was on the right track and that had generally entertained us a lot. Nothing in the story makes sense, that is to say, they really want us to believe that out of nowhere a priest finds "blood of Christ" to kill the demonic spectrum, for God's sake, it seems that at the time of writing the story the scriptwriters had forgotten all the minimum coherence that a film should have.

The plot of this film takes us along a path of clichés that want to generate mysteries, suspense, and terror in a film that has no originality and develops in a disorganized way, giving us a completely boring story that did not convince me at any time.

There is no time to highlight this film, an absurd plot and bad developed where they seem to have skipped the elements necessary to make a story grow alone, this film was only dedicated to grouping scenes typical of low budget horror films that of course made it extremely boring. The only points that I liked are the setting and the photography because the creators managed to create gloomy scenes that looked really good and that connects us with all the rhythm that a horror film should have, unfortunately, those great settings were overshadowed by a plot so dull and lifeless.

Without a doubt I didn't enjoy this movie at all, in fact, while I was watching it I did something that I hate to do, I took out the phone and I started to check my messages; the film lost my attention and more than fear I laugh at the absurd moments that were used to try to save it.
