Having free time and using it to watch films is a very valuable opportunity for me. Today I just finished watching the film The Bourne Ultimatum.
This is a continuation of the film that tells the story of an Amnesiac CIA agent that I reviewed previously, entitled The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy.
This film, which was made by a great director named Paull Greengrass, still stars our favorite great actor named Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, Julia Sties as Nicky and Joan Allen as Pamela Landy.
This great film which was released in 2007 has a rating of 8.0 according to the IMDB site and has a duration of 115 minutes. Seeing the very high score of this film makes you even more excited to watch this film which will definitely have a very good story.
The synopsis of the film The Bourne Ultimatum tells the story of an Amnesiac CIA agent named Jason Bourne who is trying to reveal his true identity because now he has lost all his memories.
However, several people in high positions in the CIA always try to kill Jason Bourne at all costs so that Jason Bourne cannot regain his memory.
The reason is, if Jason Bourne finds his memory again, several high-ranking CIA people named Kramer and Noah will have their careers threatened because in the past they used Jason Bourne as a Assassin Agent to kill someone named Albert for their personal interests.
Throughout the film Jason Bourne tries to meet several people who can lead him to regain memories of the past.
However, everyone Jason Bourne wanted to meet was killed by CIA agents, one of whom was a journalist who already knew all of Jason Bourne's identities in the past. I was really amazed to see every action the CIA agent made in the film.
They are described as being able to be anywhere, being able to disguise themselves as anyone and even being able to track other people just by knowing their name. In fact, when I see CIA Agents who are everywhere and could be anyone, sometimes I feel like all around me there is a Special Agent who might be disguised, haha. It is these scenes that make me really like watching films about CIA agents.

However, Jason Bourne, who is a former CIA Agent, is no less great, because in his previous career at the CIA, Jason Bourne had become the greatest Agent and had succeeded in completing elite missions that could not be carried out by just any other CIA Agent.
While on the run because he was always being chased by many CIA agents, Jason now meets a female agent named Nicky. Nicky was Jason's friend when they were still Agent Treadstone (Agent with a special division at the CIA).
At that time Jason wanted to meet someone named Neal Daniels who was the head of a bank in Madrid because Daniels knew everything about every incident that made Jason Bourne lose his memory, and Daniels had also given Jason Bourne's calm document to a journalist at the beginning of the film which made Daniels too also hunted by the CIA.

Nicky, who saw Jason trying hard to meet Daniels, finally wanted to help Jason, and now Nicky is also being hunted by CIA agents. Unfortunately, when Jason was about to meet Daniels, Daniels car suddenly exploded because a bomb had been placed by another CIA agent named Desh.

From the CIA office, it turned out that Pamela Landy, who was one of the leaders at the CIA, was always monitoring Jason Bourne's movements. Seeing that Jason almost lost his chance to find his true identity, Pamela finally wanted to help Jason because Pamela also felt that there was something being hidden from the CIA.

After successfully stealing a secret document from Noah and meeting Pamela Landy, now Jason Bourne knows everything about his past. It turns out that after killing Albert on a mission called Black Briar, Jason was deliberately made amnesiac by an unnamed old man and also Daniel.
This was done so that the case of Albert's death would never be revealed because Jason had lost his memory. After having Noah's files given by Jason, Pamela Landy immediately handed over all the files to the authorities in her country.
When Jason was about to escape from a building after meeting an old man who was involved in erasing his memory, Noah suddenly came and immediately shot Jason until he fell into the river.
The next day, Pamela Landy was shown at a trial to reveal the case of Noah and Kramer, who currently serves as Director of the CIA.
After being proven guilty, Noah and Kramer were finally arrested for killing Albert for their personal interests.
At the end of the film it is also shown that, although Jason Bourne was shot and fell into the river, his body was never found after several days of searching.
It is also shown that Nicky smiles at the news because Nicky knows that Jason Bourne/David Web is still alive.
In my opinion, this is an action film with a very complex story, each story line is connected to the previous films and also the next film, I'm sure everyone who watches this film will definitely be interested in watching the entire series of The Bourne films.
And it turns out, after looking for further information, I just found out that this film which tells the story of an Amnesiac CIA Agent is based on a best-selling novel written by Robert Ludlum, it is only natural that this film has a very high rating.
Conclusion
The conclusion that can be drawn from this film is that, no matter how clever the person who hides the carcass (secret evil/crime) in the end it will definitely be discovered (will definitely be exposed) like Noah and Kramer who were finally exposed for their heinous crimes.
And one more undeniable fact from the conclusion of this film is that good always triumphs over evil, never giving up and continuing to focus on improving ourselves will make our lives brighter in the future like Jason Bourne who never gave up and continued to focus on finding his identity to make his name. returned to being clean from a criminal history manipulated by his superiors.
