Here's another charming and beautiful film from Studio Ghibli that's sure to warm your heart. It's Ponyo, a 2008 animated film by Hayao Miyazaki.
No matter how old this film is, I enjoyed watching it over and over again. In fact, this is also included in the tiny paintings that I requested from my daughter, @tegoshei, for my desk wall decorations in my room, and I posted them a few months ago with a brief story about each painting.

So, back to the film, this tells the story of a goldfish princess named Ponyo who yearns to become human. She escapes from her father, who is a powerful sorcerer who lives in the ocean, and meets this cute young boy, Sosuke, who rescued her from a glass bottle. Sosuke took care of Ponyo that much, and they became good friends.
Sosuke was so sad when Ponyo went back to the sea, but was still hoping to see her again.
This is definitely one of the cutest and heartwarming films. It has magical moments with stunning visual images, both from the sea and from the land.
This is not just for kids, but for the whole family too. It subtly explores the relationship between humans and the natural world. It teaches us how to take care of it and the importance of respecting the environment.
The scenes are really amazingly beautiful and magical. Some of the scenes that I love the most are the signaling of emotions from Sosuke's family while his father is on board the ship. The scene when Ponyo's siblings helped her to escape again was really so touching, and the scene when Ponyo came back as a human child and still recognized Sosuke, I love how funny that she just passed Sosuke's mom.π
This film is really amazing and a must-watch as Studio Ghibli excels at creating magical worlds and never fails to amaze us, and Ponyo is one of their greatest animated films of all time. I can assure you that you will enjoy the stunning animation, especially the depictions of scenes from the water, which are absolutely breathtaking.
You will be in love with the elderly who are very supportive of Sosuke and Ponyo, too. And you will be amazed how Ponyo's mom set her free and entrusted her to Sosuke's love and care. I invite you to watch this film, and I assure you that you'll not be disappointed.
