Source Have you every seen any movie weirder, cooler or hilariously outrageous in a manner that makes you scream, it's so cool, or WTF?!!...
I KNOW I'M CONFUSED TOO, AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THIS MOVIE DID TO ME.
The movie kicks off by introducing us to Scott and his Merry band crew.
We are also introduce to his Chinese high school girlfriend because, you know... He is 22 years old. Later on we are then again introduced to his gay roommate, who by the way owns 99% of the properties in their room, while our dear Scotty owns just the 1% which includes, his clothes ... and more of his clothes.. hmmm...and finally we get to see his sister, played by Anna Kendrick.
But that's as far as the film goes in it's pursuit for normal. Yep!!.. that's it..
Then we get shifted into lala Land, where we can see Scott screaming No!!! In the middle of nowhere. But eventually waking up after seeing a mysterious girl in his dream, who he now concludes, is his sole mate. He wakes up, (yes!), But not before asking the girl for a kiss.( I can't say I didn't see that coming. Seeing as he is dating a highschool girl from a Catholic school...Bro's horny as hell!!).
Anyway, after a few scene depicting the dragon ball z, movie, about to air on this movie.( spoiler it's not actually a dragon ball z movie, it's this movie trying to become dragon ball z. Maybe even better) We see Scott as he finally sees his dream girl in real life. ( Yeah he was shocked but that didn't stop him from doing a little pervy stalking....)
Bottom line is that Scotty manages to get the girl to be his girlfriend, while still dating his highschool sweetheart,(who loved him by the way). But along with his new girlfriend came new challenges like like fighting all of her seven evil ex's.
It is at this point that the movie, moves into a dragon ball z type of reality with Scott defeating all her evil ex's. And we get entertained by seeing them turn into virtual reality coins.(Yes, people, her ex's are reviled to be filled with coin...not blood..... coooiinnnns!!! ..just try to keep up)
ANALYSIS The movie though weird shows Scott trying to live through his recent break up, by making bad decisions, dating a highschool girl, even though he was much older than her. And in the end battling a crap load of ex's.
The movie also focuses on some of his other issues, like his ability to use girls like a changeable underwear. But eventually, karma who is a bitch, came knocking in the form of his dream girl. Who was everything, including a mirror replica of himself, in terms of relationship. Which lead to Scott fighting all her evil ex's, who were mad because she broke up with them.
In the end the movie, though weird and difficult to follow is a great movie, with a billion and one twist, all happening within this one hour fifty two minutes, movie. It also had this dragon ball vibes, that reminds me of Goku and other animes alike.
So, if you like anime, action, games, and other weird stuff, don't miss Scott pilgrim VS the World

SÉ QUE YO TAMBIÉN ESTOY CONFUNDIDO, Y ESO ES EXACTAMENTE LO QUE ME HIZO ESTA PELÍCULA.
La película comienza presentándonos a Scott y su equipo de la banda Merry.
También nos presentan a su novia china del instituto porque, ya sabes... Tiene 22 años. Más tarde nos presentan de nuevo a su compañero de piso gay, que por cierto es dueño del 99% de las propiedades de su habitación, mientras que nuestro querido Scotty es dueño de sólo el 1% que incluye, su ropa ... y más de su ropa.. hmmm... y finalmente llegamos a ver a su hermana, interpretada por Anna Kendrick.
Pero hasta ahí llega la película en su búsqueda de la normalidad. ¡Sí! ... eso es todo ...
Luego nos trasladamos a la tierra de lala, donde podemos ver a Scott gritando ¡¡¡No!!! En medio de la nada. Pero finalmente se despierta después de ver a una misteriosa chica en su sueño, que ahora concluye, es su única pareja. Se despierta, (¡sí!), pero no antes de pedirle a la chica un beso.( No puedo decir que no lo viera venir. Viendo que está saliendo con una chica de instituto de una escuela católica... ¡¡¡El hermano es un cachondo!!!).
En fin, después de algunas escenas que muestran la película de dragon ball z, a punto de salir al aire en esta película.( spoiler en realidad no es una película de dragon ball z, es esta película tratando de convertirse en dragon ball z. Tal vez incluso mejor) Vemos a Scott como finalmente ve a la chica de sus sueños en la vida real. ( Sí, estaba sorprendido pero eso no le impidió hacer un poco de acoso pervertido....)
En definitiva, Scotty consigue que la chica sea su novia, mientras sigue saliendo con su novia del instituto,(que por cierto le encantaba). Pero junto con su nueva novia vinieron nuevos retos como luchar contra todos sus siete malvados ex.
Es en este punto donde la película, se traslada a una realidad tipo Dragon Ball Z con Scott derrotando a todos los ex malvados de ella. ¡¡¡Y nos entretenemos viendo como se convierten en monedas de realidad virtual.(Si, gente, sus ex's son vilipendiados por estar llenos de monedas...no de sangre..... coooiinnnns!!! ..solo trata de seguir el ritmo)
ANÁLISIS La película aunque extraña muestra a Scott tratando de vivir su reciente ruptura, tomando malas decisiones, saliendo con una chica del instituto, a pesar de ser mucho mayor que ella. Y al final luchando contra un montón de ex.
La película también se centra en algunos de sus otros problemas, como su capacidad para utilizar a las chicas como una ropa interior cambiante. Pero al final, el karma, que es una perra, llamó a la puerta en forma de la chica de sus sueños. Que lo era todo, incluso una réplica de sí mismo, en términos de relación. Lo que llevó a Scott a luchar contra todas sus malvadas ex, que estaban enfadadas porque había roto con ellas.
Al final la película, aunque extraña y difícil de seguir es una gran película, con un billón y un giro, todo sucediendo dentro de esta hora cincuenta y dos minutos, película. También tiene esas vibraciones de Dragon Ball, que me recuerdan a Goku y a otros animes.
