Hello, dear hivelovers, I hope you are feeling great. Today I want to share with you my review of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Esta película, después de casi dos años, la pude ver en cine. En Lima, Perú. Ya estaba en su tercera semana de estreno, más o menos. Y siguiendo los comentarios positivos estuve mucho más interesada en verla. Pero no fue lo que esperaba, así que para esta reseña la dividiré en dos partes:
- Lo que no me gustó
- Lo que me gustó
This film, after almost two years, I was able to see it in a movie theater. In Lima, Peru. It was already in its 3rd week of release, more or less. And following the positive comments I was much more interested in seeing it. But it was not what I expected, so for this review I will divide it in two parts:
- What I didn't like
- What I liked
Es así cuando vemos a un personaje que no tiene conciencia de sus poderes ni de lo que implica. Y está bien hasta cierto punto. Pero con esta peli, siento que jugaron con fuego y se quemaron un poco.
That's how it is when we see a character who has no awareness of his powers or what they entail. And that's fine up to a point. But with this movie, I feel like they played with fire and got a little burned.
No me gustó tampoco el final de la Tía May, quien muere en defensa de los valores. Y debo mencionar que lo que no me gustó de este final tiene que ver con el Multiverso, los villanos llegan a este nuevo mundo para querer destruir a Peter Parker (aunque no es el que conocen) pero en su mundo pasado ya estaban muertos. Y la Tía May se enfrasca en darles una segunda oportunidad, y siento que quedaron vacías ciertas preguntas. Por ejemplo, el hombre de arena tiene una hija pero en el otro universo, si él es bueno en este ¿de qué le sirve sin estar con ella? Creo que de haber explicado el Multiverso, todo habría tenido sentido. Pues la muerte de la Tía May no hubiese dejado la sensación de que murió por las tonterías de su sobrino.
I didn't like the ending of Aunt May either, who dies in defense of values. And I must mention that what I didn't like about this ending has to do with the Multiverse, the villains come to this new world to want to destroy Peter Parker (although he is not the one they know) but in their past world they were already dead. And Aunt May is engrossed in giving them a second chance, and I feel that certain questions were left empty. For example, the sandman has a daughter but in the other universe, if he is good in this one what good is he without being with her? I think that if the Multiverse had been explained, everything would have made sense. For Aunt May's death would not have left the feeling that she died because of her nephew's nonsense.
La relación de MJ y Peter
Esta relación tampoco me ha gustado, los veo sin química, los veo como dos niños corriendo siempre. Y siento que fuerzan la aparición de Zendaya interpretando a MJ, pues muchas de las publicidades la implican a ella. Y en la peli, aunque tiene un papel importante para Peter, sus acciones no son estelares. Los juegos de la cámara también afectaron mucho y por eso la sensación de estar corriendo siempre se mantiene con la pareja.
MJ and Peter's relationship
I didn't like this relationship either, I see them without chemistry, I see them as two kids running around all the time. And I feel that they force the appearance of Zendaya playing MJ, since many of the commercials involve her. And in the movie, although she has an important role for Peter, her actions are not stellar. The camera games also affected a lot and that's why the running feeling always stays with the couple.
La actuación del Duende Verde
Este es uno de los mejores villanos de Marvel, Willie Dafoe se robó la actuación es esta entrega. Pensé haberlo visto todo con él, pero quedé impresionada. Fue épico el trabajo, y de cierta manera la nueva generación pudo disfrutar de su aparición. La escena de pelea entre él y Spider Man que acaba con la vida de la tía May, deja a cualquiera sin aliento. En realidad la aparición de todos los villanos estuvo bien lograda.
The Green Goblin's performance
This is one of Marvel's best villains, Willie Dafoe stole the show is this installment. I thought I had seen it all with him, but I was blown away. It was epic work, and in a way the new generation got to enjoy his appearance. The fight scene between him and Spider-Man that ends Aunt May's life takes anyone's breath away. In fact, the appearance of all the villains was well done.
Doctor Strange
Aunque tengo sentimientos encontrados con Strange por ser tan poco maduro para no aceptar las peticiones de Peter. Debo admitir que una de las escenas que más me gustaron de la peli, fue la de la dimensión espejo con Peter. El desdoblamiento del Universo. Y las posibilidades infinitas en imagen me encantaron. Me recordó al Origen, pero en esta ocasión la superaron.
Doctor Strange
Although I have mixed feelings with Strange for being so immature for not accepting Peter's requests. I must admit that one of the scenes I enjoyed the most in the movie, was the one in the mirror dimension with Peter. The unfolding of the Universe. And the infinite possibilities in image I loved. It reminded me of Inception, but this time they surpassed it.

Andrew Garfield
Tuvo los mejores diálogos de la peli. Y es quien nos hace llorar con su historia. Cada Spider-Man tiene su propia historia y carácter. Pero también tiene sus similitudes sus Marie Jane, y su duelo. Cuando el Spider-Man 2 salva a MJ, fue simplemente reconfortante, pues nos recordó cuando no pudo salvar a Marie Jane (interpretada por Emma Stone). Además, de que para mí es el más gracioso de todos. Su aparición y diálogos eclipsó a los demás.
Andrew Garfield
He had the best dialogues of the movie. And he is the one who makes us cry with his story. Each Spider-Man has his own story and character. But he also has his similarities his Marie Jane, and his duel. When Spider-Man 2 saves MJ, it was just heartwarming, as it reminded us of when he couldn't save Marie Jane (played by Emma Stone). Plus, of which to me he's the funniest of them all. His appearance and dialogue overshadowed the others.
Creo que esto ha sido todo amigos. La peli me dejó con la sensación de que hubo fallos en el guión. Las escenas fueron muy bien logradas, exceptos las de MJ y Peter. Y el sonido estuvo bien, aunque en estas pelis no sobresalen. Esperemos ver una siguiente entrega con un Peter Parker más maduro y audaz para notar el peligro. Esta peli siento que fue el quiebre de este Spider-Man. Y se dio el cumplimiento del título, "Sin regreso a Casa".
I think this has been all folks. The movie left me with the feeling that there were flaws in the script. The scenes were very well done, except for the MJ and Peter scenes. And the sound was good, although in these movies they don't stand out. Let's hope to see a next installment with a more mature and daring Peter Parker to notice the danger. This movie I feel was the breakout of this Spider-Man. And it was the fulfillment of the title, "No Homecoming".
