Hello everyone, I hope you all are well today. During the week I saw the movie Man of Fire with Denzel Washington. It's been a few years since the last time, have seen it a couple of times, not sure how many but I know I like it. 😃
The movie will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Denzel Washington plays John Creasy, a former CIA agent who struggles with guilt and alcoholism. He gets a new chance in life when he becomes a bodyguard for Pita Ramos (Dakota Fanning), a nine-year-old girl who lives in Mexico City with her wealthy parents. They become good friends, but Pita is kidnapped by a criminal organization that demands a ransom. Creasy survives an attack, and decides to avenge Pita and save her. He hunts down the kidnappers and kills them one by one, with the help of some allies. The film is an action thriller that explores themes of loyalty, friendship, revenge and sacrifice. It is based on a novel by A.J. Quinnell, and is directed by Tony Scott.
There are many good scenes in the film, it held my attention well throughout, it was fun to watch it again. The film is not for the faint of heart, as it contains many scenes of brutal violence, torture and blood. It is a film that will appeal to fans of action-thrillers, but also to those who like strong stories with depth and emotions. It is a film that will make you cry, laugh, fear and cheer for Creasy in his fight to save Pita. I would give this 8 out of 10. If you have seen it what did you think?
