Hello everyone, took a movie revenge with Liam Neeson since the last time I saw with him "Retribution" was not very good haha. Then wanted to see Taken 2, its directed by Olivier Megaton, an action-packed sequel to the popular original film Taken from 2008. I gave it a solid 8. I've seen Taken 2 before, but it's been so long, so it's always fun to see them again if you enjoyed it. We follow Liam Neeson as ex-CIA agent Bryan Mills and this time it is his family that is in danger, ex-wife Lenore played by Famke Janssen and daughter Kim played by Maggie Grave are on holiday in Istanbul where they are captured by a vengeful evil Murad. He wants revenge for Mills killing his son in the first movie.
Neeson delivers as usual well, his tough familiar style, I like it. Fanke Janssen and Maggie Grave also give good performances and give the film nice chemistry. With cool intense car chases, it also makes Taken 2 visually impressive and, with good music, gives the film an extra boost. I give it a solid 8 as the first movie.
