Seeing the first new film I saw, I really like Halle Berry so I thought this must be good. The Union was released in the year 2024 and is directed by Julian Farino. It is an action comedy with espionage and romance.😃
We follow Mark Wahlberg who plays Mike, a construction worker whom The Union tries to recruit into its secret intelligence unit. There they try to stop a global threat after hackers have gained access to sensitive information about government employees. And this operation is led by his old flame Roxanna, played by Halle Berry. For me, the film was unable to hold my interest, the chemistry is good for the actors, but the film struggles to deliver on the action and comedy part. This was a mediocre film and it falls short of expectations as a memorable action comedy. It will be a 6 from me.
