"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" by Michael Bay | 2011

Review by @aydogdy · 2747d · of Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Having seen this film, I did not feel regret, and this, most likely because I did not expect depth and special meaning. As in the first two parts, in this film, robots fight, make pretentious speeches, people run, scream and shoot, turn into ruin everything, houses, streets and whole cities, it seems that everyone will die and the world ends, but no, our heroes will try and win.

In the new Transformers, the special effects have become even better, and the desipticons are even angrier. As it turns out, Neil Armstrong was the first to see giant robots, and Chernobyl was built on a kind of transformer engine, but there were fewer funny scenes about Sam Witwicky and all the time talking and unfolding machines. I can safely say that there are almost none. Is that the parents of Sam and a couple of crumbs of the Autobots, diluting the pathos with their stupidity and the seriousness of the battle for the future of our planet.

It is difficult to find fault with the actors, they played well the roles that were offered to them. And it was offered to them to act as an addition, extras to the fights of robots and LaBeouf, McDormand and Malkovich coped with this professionally.

Frustrated by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who replaced the Megan Fox and it was very widely discussed. It's hard to call Rosie an actress, she is most likely a spectacular girl with a gorgeous figure who could easily be replaced by any model from Victoria's Secret. As it seems to me, Rosie in the cinema is a completely extra addition. Noting Rosie in Transformers, we can say that she looks ridiculous, in a buttonhole with a bazooka in a camouflage buttonhole. In general, bright and fresh, but somehow not appropriate.

The first part of Transformers is very inspired that I periodically review it, and with great pleasure. The second and third parts are unlikely to deserve my attention, since one view is enough.
