Hello everyone your welcome to my blog ❤️❤️
I'm a huge fan of horror movies and vampire movies is not really one of my best I do find this one intriguing, the fact that vampire live for so many centuries over and over again is really very exciting for me.

The movie Abigail is a very intriguing horror that was released in the year 2024, it is directed by Matt Bettinelli -Olpin and Tyler Gillett. In this movie we see a group criminals who are hired to kidnap the 12 year old daughter oh a very wealthy man who is named Abigail.

The movie progresses to show us that they kept her in an isolated mansion overnight while demanding for the sum of 50 million dollars. Having no idea that there captive is a innocent looking vampire disguised as a small girl.
The crazy plot twist happened so fast imagine a kidnapping story suddenly changes to a serious fight for survival. The kidnappers were worried because they didn't know how to keep Abigail silent and under control. Then the sudden turn of event's where everyone starts fighting for their lives is epic. They never knew they walked into a deadly trap ,that turned them into Abigail's prey .

The role of Abigail which is being played by Alisha Weir did a very excellent work. Her character was really intriguing and exciting the whole switch from a innocent little ballerina to a wicked ruthless vampire, it's is clearly merged into the scene's. It gave the fight and the zeal to survive a very creative scene and unique quality
Her performance gave the movie a combination of horror and comedy. The movie involves another beautiful character who is Melissa Barrera's Joey gradually becomes a very loving character towards Abigail, for me she is the only one that seemed genuine and truly shoved concern towards Abigail. While the other kidnappers became selfish towards her after realising who her father is .

In this movie the personalities of the criminals. Instead of them standing as a team it quickly makes how fear destroys loyalty. Selfishness as everyone being to fight for their lives ,even it means killing one another.
Looking at the movie from a deeper view the reason for Abigail's behaviour is her father Kristof Lazar , a name that clearly frightens everyone. The things Abigail did was all in her quest to get her father's attention and appraisal but she never accomplished. This makes Abigail portray a more emotional context. Showing that she is just a lonely seeking for validation from a father who clearly doesn't care.
Let's talk about the fact that their was an inside man all along amongst the criminals and they never knew. The role is Lambert the inside man is played by Giancarlo Esposito. He has been monitoring the group until Abigail revealed to the group that he was working for her father.

Melissa Barrera gives Joey enough emotional depth to keep the story grounded. Dan Stevens clearly enjoys playing Frank's increasingly ridiculous confidence. Kathryn Newton brings plenty of attitude to Sammy, while Kevin Durand provides some of the movie's comedic energy. But Alisha Weir is the real standout because she has to carry the unusual balance between Abigail's childish innocence and terrifying nature.
Abigail is a good and intriguing movie , quite unpredictable. For me it's not the perfect horror movies but it's one of those movies that can keep you watching simply because you want to satisfy your curiosity of the traps the deadly mansion has.
