Cuando somos padres es muy común decir que No a casi todo, pero quizás sea tiempo de cambiar ese No por un Si, quien sabe ya lo veremos.

Ayer en la noche le eché un vistazo a la nueva película que está trasmitiendo el canal de Streaming de Netflix que tiene la participación de uno de los actores más exitosos de Venezuela como es el señor (Édgar Ramírez) quien lleva muy en alto la bandera de Venezuela. Además de esto tenía algo que llamo mi atención y quizás no sea nada innovador, pero la idea desde mi punto de vista me pareció fresca e interesante.

Como padre me tope con esa misma interrogante o barrera que muchos padres casi no entendemos y que en la película exponen desde el inicio y es porque usamos con tanta frecuencia la frase o palabra NOen la mayoría de nuestras oraciones con nuestros hijos en diferentes aspectos o momentos de nuestro día a día.

Cuando era pequeño recuerdo que mi mamá solía decirme que NO, cuando quería jugar en la lluvia o comer mientras veía la televisión y eso para mi era frustrante, ya que era algo que deseaba hacer, pero mi mamá siempre decía que no. Ya de grande pude entender las razones por las cuales no me dejaba hacerlo y obviamente las entiendo y otras muchas cosas más.

Pero de niños no la entendemos y de adolescentes o adultos independientes podemos pensar diferente y casi nunca utilizamos en nuestras oraciones un NO tan seguido y eso es genial, ya que solemos ser más abiertos o relajados en algunas situaciones, pero cuando llegamos a la etapa donde somos padres las cosas cambian y ese ”NO” se vuelve común dentro de nuestras oraciones y en esta película nos podemos ver al espejo.

¿DE QUÉ TRATA LA PELÍCULA?

Conoceremos una pequeña familia conformada por (Jennifer Garner) quien le da vida a la mamá Allison Torres y como papá tenemos a (Édgar Ramírez) como Carlos Torres, dos personajes que antes de ser padres tenían una vida donde decir que ”NO” no formaba parte de su vocabulario, pero al pasar los años y convertirse en padres las cosas tomaron otro rumbo y no siempre se puede decir que sí.

Tenemos a la hija mayor (Jenna Ortega) quien interpreta a Katie Torres una adolescente en plena etapa de libertad que debe luchar con la dictadura impuesta por su madre a quien le pide un poco de libertad, pero no la consigue y debe armarse de paciencia. Por último tenemos a los más pequeños de la familia (Julian Lerner) como Evan Torres y (Everly Carganilla) como la pequeña Ellie Torres, ellos están en una etapa donde las travesuras y aventuras están a la orden del día, pero deben bailar al ritmo que le toquen, aunque sienten que sus padres deben ser más relajados.

Vemos como los padres cometan el plan de tener 24 horas de Hoy Si, pero los chicos no creen que su mamá pueda aguantar tanto. Lo cual genera que Allisonacepte el reto y desde ese momento inicia una aventura donde todo es posible.

Veremos como los chicos planean un día lleno de sorpresas, desde comer mucho helado y lavar el automóvil con las puertas abiertas, Carlos y Allison deberán poner de su parte para que la familia pase un rato diferente y los chicos entienda el significado de la libertad y los límites. Una película con momentos divertidos y un mensaje que sin duda llegará a cada uno de nosotros.

HABLEMOS DE LOS PERSONAJES / ACTORES

La película gira en torno a la familia lo cual no hace nada difícil hablar sobre cada uno de ellos, pero en esta oportunidad solo me enfocaré en 3 personajes que creo son de gran importancia para desarrollar mi opinión.

Hablemos de (Jennifer Garner) Allison Torres, me gustó mucho su actuación creo que representó perfectamente esa madre preocupada por hacer las cosas bien para evitar cometer errores que afecten a sus hijos, pero que también los lastima indirectamente al no darles esa libertad y confianza. Jennifer es una actriz muy fresca y cada papel que interpreta deja su marca personal.

We will see how the boys plan a day full of surprises, from eating lots of ice cream and washing the car with the doors open, Carlos and Allison will have to do their part so that the family has a different time and the Guys understand the meaning of freedom and limits. A movie with funny moments and a message that will undoubtedly reach each of us.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE CHARACTERS / ACTORS

The film revolves around the family, which does not make it difficult to talk about each of them, but this time I will only focus on 3 characters that I think are of great importance to develop my opinion.

Let's talk about (Jennifer Garner) Allison Torres, I really liked her performance I think she perfectly represented that mother concerned about doing things right to avoid making mistakes that affect her children, but who also indirectly hurts them by not giving them that freedom and confidence. Jennifer is a very cool actress and every role she plays leaves her personal mark.

Por otro lado tenemos a (Édgar Ramírez) Carlos Torres, quien tenía tiempo sin ver alguna de sus películas donde su participación fuera tan larga como en esta película, pero la interpretación de su personaje no me convenció o por lo menos no me llego al corazón como esperaba, me explicó no sentí esa Magia de padre, no tenía la chispa ni la química para impactar lo suficiente. Por otra parte desarrollo bien su personaje, pero no al nivel que yo esperaba.

(Jenna Ortega) Katie Torres en esta oportunidad vemos un personaje común, de una adolescente rebelde y con ganas de libertad que no entiende aún el significado de libertad, pero que poco a poco conoce el porqué su madre la protege tanto y lo que desea para ella. Desarrolla bien el personaje, el tiempo en pantalla es corto pero agradable al momento de verla actuar.

HABLEMOS DE LO BUENO Y LO MALO

Es una película de comedia que tiene una sola línea argumental que en ningún momento se sale de su línea de tiempo, esto es bueno, ya que no tiene un margen de error muy grande y puede desarrollarse sin muchos problemas.

LO BUENO

La actuación de (Jennifer Garner) es fresca, puedes conectar rápidamente con ella y sentir que viajas con ella en ese momento de ser el padre responsable que quiere tener todo bajo control.

La historia es entretenida, no pierdes el interés en ningún momento, claro esto es bajo mi pensamiento y opinión personal. Creo que cuando una película te mantiene en el asiento hasta el final es porque algo está siendo bien.

LO MALO

Muy poco tiempo para conocer o disfrutar de un **¡HOY SI! ** me hubiera gustado ver más actividades y que los padres pasarán por retos más exigentes. Siendo objetivo no encuentro otra cosa mala que destacar de la película creo que entrego lo que se esperaba.

HABLEMOS DEL PRODUCTOR O GUIONISTA

El director (Miguel Arteta) tiene un buen historial de películas de las que podemos destacar unas cuantas como por ejemplo; Una buena chica, mi nuevo jefe y Socias en Guerra, buenas películas que de verdad te entretienen hasta el final. Con esta nueva entrega podemos conocer su manera de desarrollar historias y la forma como encaja los personajes con los actores que lo interpretan. También es conocido por su película independiente Chuck & Buck por la que recibió un premio.
