As soon as I got to know that 18 Again is based on the Hollywood movie 17 Again starring Zac Efron I knew that I had to see this one for sure.
17 Again is an incredible movie in its self but it's a movie in the end you know you feel bad when a good movie ends but when it's a series ahh now thats the best.
18 Again follows 37 year old Hong Dae Young (Yoon Sang Hyun), who isn’t having much luck in his life. He is constantly looked down upon at his workplace and is a bit estranged with his teenage fraternal twins and is in the midst of a divorce (Like Uggh The Odds Are Seriously Stacked Against This Guy) He legit ha no idea why his wife Jung Da Jung (Kim Ha Neul) wants a divorce form him.
Unsure about life Hong Dae Young wishes to become young again and one night miraculously while playing basket ball at his old high school he transforms into his 18 year old self.
Wanting to give life a second chance this time around, Hong Dae Young in his teens starring Lee Do Hyun starts going by the name Ko Woo Young, and starts attending his old high school. He encounters his teenage twins who also attend the same school as him.
As Woo Young, Hong Dae Young strives to be closer to his family in any way he can and learns a ton of several life lessons in return. Meanwhile his wife Da Jung gets accepted into her dream job as a news anchor and throughout the series she also learns a couple life lessons and learns more about Hong Dae Young in the process.
This is a really good watch and is pretty emotional as well and the comic timing of the characters are simply amazing , You're bound to pick up a tip or two from this series.
I can't wait to start the next K-Drama series, I wonder it'll be ? Got any suggestion then drop hem in the comments below.
