This is the first K-Drama i've ever watched and my god this was quite a beautiful watch. Itaewon Class is one of the most talked about K-Dramas of 2020, The show focuses on several issues in the society such as gender discrimination, social class inequality etc
In it's core this series is a story all about revenge, friendship and family. It's about power, discrimination, fighting greed and much more.
Each of the character is very well written and have complex roles and don't even get me started on the love story aspect of this series it's just an emotional ride between the characters Park Saeroyi who is an ex-con, Jo Yi-Seo a resourceful and loyal pub manager, Oh Soo-ah an independent woman who wants to make a name for herself and Jang Geun-Soo the illegitimate son of Jang Dae-Hee who is the CEO of a food company Jangga Group.
The OST (Original Sound Track) is incredible and it leaves you in tears in certain scenes of Itaewon Class.
You'll end up learning a lot by the end of this series if you plan on watching it, I highly recommend you watch it. Here's what I learnt by the end of this series.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t reach your dreams and Surprisingly being Patient pays off. You can always redeem yourself. Some things are more important than your pride.
