Synopsis
When five people gets chosen to visit an island where their fantasies are brought to reality. Fantasies becomes nightmares as they must try to survive while they solve the Island mystery.

The story revolves around 5 persons who arrives at an Island expecting to live out their fantasy unknown to them what price it would cost. There is Melanie Cole whose fantasy was to get her revenge on a childhood bully who made her life a wreck as a child. There is also Gwen Olsen, whose fantasy was to accept a marriage proposal she had rejected few years back. Patrick Sullivan who was a part of the group, held on to his fantasy of getting enlisted in a war as a soldier just like his father. There is also the Weaver brothers whose visitation to the Island was to realize their fantasy of having everything they want..."wanting to have it all".
Living out a fantasy is not a bad thing but when having to realize it is at a costly price then makes it a nightmare you can't escape from. This was the dilemma of these persons whose fantasies became a nightmare.

The concept of fantasy becoming a reality was fun to watch for me...and I actually enjoyed it but I wouldn't call it an horror movie since I could watch most of the scenes if not all with my two eyes open "How else am I supposed to watch it right? Lol you know what I mean though." Unlike other horror/slasher movies this was far from it. So if you are expecting to get loads of horror from watching this then please don't bother because you wouldn't be satisfied with the kind of horror the movie has to deliver.
The movie was a bit tricky and held it's suspense to a point...a lot was happening but they were all connected...at that point you'd be like "Ah! I see, so that's what it is all about"...yeah that kind of feeling. The actors performance was alright, they made good use of their screen time....not as expected but it wasn't that bad.

"Be careful what you wish" for is more like a direct message from the movie. We all fantasize about lot's of things, have regrets about something that has happened in the past which we would want to redo or relive to make right any wrong that has happened. But then, one thing that stuck to me was that not all fantasy are meant to become a reality and not all mistake can undone.

The movie is okay to watch and pass time...not in my list of must watch but it wouldn't be a waste of time either. So if you are looking to see a movie you could check this out...these are just my opinions, you might just enjoy it better than I did.
